Dr. Vrej Manoogian, DO

Horrible. Had knee surgery January 24, 2024 and my knee is worse than before the surgery. Saw the Dr. one time for the initial consultation and never saw or spoke to him again. However, I was double billed by the anesthesiologist for 2 procedures. and double billed by Manoogian’s billing service. After the surgery I was refused by his office for the needed PRP treatment because I changed insurance companies….I offered to pay cash to complete the procedure, but, was refused. Do not go to this doctor. you’ll be as sorry as I am if you do.

i had to think before I posted this(the therapy guys and gals were great, sorry)...I went on recommendations and it was not good for me. I had a torn meniscus and the surgery made the issue worse and I now need a knee. It has been a year with no relief in sight.(after all the therapy and shots and Orth Gel shots by them) I had a second opinion and was told'The procedure did not do me any favors Too much was taken out' All I got from Manoogian office was,'Sometimes it doesn't go as planned'.Knowing what I have been told, I would have been better off with the pinching and manageable pain than a limp and more pain and needed a knee now due to bone on bone. My quality of life has been compromised.

I have been many times with my mother so we know to pack a lunch but this is ridiculous. We left at 11:40 without her being seen for a 10:15 appt with the nurse practitioner ??. And she still was not “next”!! People came and left and there we sat. To add insult to injury the receptionist wasn’t apologetic or sorry it was simply OK I’ll take her off the list. I can only assume she gets the same complaint often. I have a full time job that i have to take time off from but apparently no one else can work so they can schedule too many patients. Unacceptable. Will be the last time

I had a TKR in March, and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with the results!! I had it at the surgery center and went home the same day. I was quite worried about that, but it turned out to be the best thing ever! My recovery went very fast and I was walking without my walker or cane after 3 wks!!! The physical therapy is great too! I had a TKR on my other knee years ago in another state and it was a nightmare!! I can't believe how smooth this one went. I can't rave about Dr. Manoogian and his entire staff enough!! Top-notch all the way.

Dr. M is one of the finest, most gifted medical professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure to know! Not only is he a top notch surgeon, but his compassion, care, and genuine concern for his patients is brilliant! Yes... some office wait-times have been a bit lengthy, but to have this caliber of doctor/surgeon right in Lake County made the wait worth it!!??

Dr. Manoogian is the most passionate and caring doctor I have seen. His intelligence, technique, passion for the patient, and care he puts into his surgeries is superb. The wait time can vary, but I assure you the wait is more than worth it. Doctors treated me... Dr. Manoogian healed me. 5/5 stars

Appt times run longer than 16 to 30 mins more like an hour.people take off work to be there on time.and sit there over an hour because he had a new pt. well hope it worked out. ill never be back.why didn't they sch more time for that new person...Done

Great caring orthopedic surgeon. His office, staff are courteous and accomadating...which is rare in a lot of medical practices in our area.

Provides remarkable care, has friendly attitude, and is a great physician.

I accompanied my mother to her first appointment to the office for a hip replacement consult. We waited 2 hours to be seen, which I understand being a specialist office. What was very upsetting was the manner the physician had once he entered the room. He was unbelievably rushed in his manner of speaking and asking questions. I would say that in a matter of 3-4 minutes, the physician began speaking into his Dictaphone while we are sitting there. So I guess that was the end of our visit! WOW !!!

We moved from Indiana and I needed an Orthopedic Dr. For my rotator cuff repair. My neighbor told me about him. I'm so happy I went to see him. He was phenomenal. I'm retired from the OR and I now a few things about surgery. He impressed me grately. He listened to me , examined me and then explained in detail what he needed to do....more than my ortho dr back home. He is very friendly and kind. His nurse gave me an anti inflammatory injection and within 24 hrs. what a difference.

We were so impressed with the care that Dr. Manoogian gave. He spent the time to explain how to actually recover and get quality of life back after an acute episode of disability. Between my husband and I, we have over 55 years of healthcare professional experience ourselves. It was scary to be on the receiving end. Dr. Manoogian practices the art of medicine in the best way, partnering with his patients on the journey towards healing. What a rare jewel in today's healthcare climate.
