Dr Garas helped with a mold exposure from my home, prescribing the best asthma treatments. He listens and is helpful

Had for ~2 years. Nice guy, is patient, listens, but has a tendency to recommend pseudo-medicine / alternative medicine as a first line of treatment. In general, he seems to hold a new-age or spiritual view of medicine rather than a modern-physicalist (aka science based) paradigm. There have been 3 separate instances that, each, were later more accurately diagnosed or entirely corrected by going to a different provider and using evidence based tx. I should not have to go on a medical journal database to verify the scientific efficacy of my own doctor's claims, otherwise what is the point of a doctor? Is it a boulder thing to push for pseudoscience? Sorry but "yoga, meditation, rolfing", placebo, and general woo (which have been the actual suggestions for 3 said conditions mentioned earlier) doesn't do it for me.

I went for a follow up after having the flu. He walked in, gave me a referral, and that was it. I didn’t actually have a checkup he didn’t look down my throat or anything. Didn’t glance at paperwork. Wasted a copay.
