Still waiting after a month.
Telehealth
I had a telehealth visit with Tammy Baker PA to go over my sleep study. She told me I definitely had sleep apnea and would need a cap. She said she would send an order for one right away. I have been waiting now for a month! Everytime I call the office it goes to voice mail and I have to leave a message. I have left multiple messages! I did get one return call and was told they were waiting for the doctor to sign my note. This is very frustrating.

Cant reach office or get call back
Dr is nice. Seems a bit scattered. Documentation on chart is poor. Ive been trying to reach the office for a few weeks and cant get call back from nurse or manager. I even went there in person and talking to someone and still no call back.

No call back.
I think Dr Tanyous is wonderful.. But when i have a question or need to be seen or am sick NO ONE EVER RETURNS MY CALL!! So, what good is having a Doctor if his office never calls !! Very frustrating to say the least.

Thorough in explaining things.
He really seemed to care about the condition of the patient as opposed to hurrying through for the sake of big bucks.

No scheduled
My 1st appt was with his PA and went well. My 2nd appt was with Dr Tanyous. I am a person who doesn't worry if having to wait in office. When I saw him on the 6th he took the time to listen to me & since I was having trouble with a bad cough for quite awhile and non cardiac chest pain. He told me I needed CScan of my chest and lungs and put me on an antibiotic. He also gave me a new CPAP. The problem now is after I had my CPAP Clinic Appt on 13th Receptionist said no Follow Up needed aft above treatment. I said that doesn't make sense. Dr Tanyous had me get a CScan which was done in Sarasota. Receptionist said she'd check and call me. I didn't hear by Fri, so I called this morning and still waiting. Just got call back days at end. Appt finally Scheduled as I said I would not keep a Dr that prescribes treatment then says no Follow Up needed. Nurse in call tonight said they're overbooked and doing the best they can. I said that's not a patient's problem. Other than that good.

He runs very late on his appointments
I have had two appointments with him. The first time I was taken into see him about 45 minutes after my appointment. He was very pleasant and more visited with me than did anything concerning my CPAP use. The second appointment they said he was running late by 45 minutes after my appointment again! I said I would reschedule and left. He needs less chatter and more cut to the chase and be a doctor. It’s great that he listens, but not at the expense of the roomful of patients waiting to see him.
