Doctor Walter Combs is like the family doctor you had when you were a kid! He has a great personality and "bedside manner". He treats you like a patient, not just a number.

First visit explained I was more concerned with my wife's MS. Never entered into the conversation again. Asked for CT of kidneys (25 year history of stones). I was told that I could only have a US. 5 months later had to ask again. Complained of sore thumb had x-ray found arthritis. Never offered steroids but was anxious to do surgery. I solved the issue with my own topical treatment. 3 cancelled visits by doctor out of 5 scheduled. Plan on at least 5 months before they really do anything substantial for you. My wife has a history of facial skin cancer, 2 previous surgeries. Dr. REFUSSED to referrer to dermatologist insisted on keeping treatment within the practice. Only offered cream 2 times a day for 2 weeks. Poor results. Never addressed her MS concerns. Finally switched to a different PCP practice. Got results from first visit. Went to dermatologist she addressed potentially serious issues that DR. Comb's had overlooked.

Dr. Walter Combs has been my doctor for 4 years and he is a very special kind of doctor. I cannot say enough good things about him and his knowledge, compassion, and genuine caring for people.

Dr Walter Combs had never seen my husband and when he came in he decided on HIS plan for MY HUSBAND WITHOUT consulting MY HUSBAND. We had to see him 1 more time before he could see another doctor. We went in and he sent in 2 training doctors and even though WE had MANY complaints about HIS plan, he instructed the TRAINING doctors to continue HIS plan again without consulting the PATIENT. PLEASE if you want a doctor that TRULY cares about their patients go to his brother Dr. Curtiss Combs.

Dr. Combs took his time and wasn't in a rush and I was able to ask questions. And he would answer them.

Dr. Combs was an hour late to my appointment. An hour! No one explained to me he would be so late and I sat in the patient waiting room. When he arrived he apologized shortly and said he was at a funeral. He seems like a genuinely nice man, but he is not open to other options rather than prescribing medicines. My husband is a PharmD and was also his patient. We both fired him because of our negative experiences.

My family and I have been seeing Dr.Combs for over 20 years. I trust him! He never hesitates to delve as deep as necessary to find out what is causing a problem. He really knows his stuff and stays up on the most current medical practices and information. He has a great bedside manner and is friendly and compassionate. Great doctor!

Hello to any & EVERYONE who reads THIS SURVEY. Myself & husband have been VERY BLESSED , EXTREMELY PLEASED MEDICALLY TREATED AND ACTUALLY. CARED FOR BY DR. WALTER COMBS AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF since Jan. We have been to a few Dr's over the yrs. UNFORTUNATELY NONE OF THEM COMPARE,or come close to the care we get from the Rancho Family Medical. Group in temecula Ca. I must say THIS DR. & his WHOLE STAFF ARE THE BEST PERIOD ...... Words can't even describe. the medical experiences / care .

Kind and compassionate Doctor who called me back after hours to answer my questions, calm my fears, and send me on to the appropriate next step. Friendly and trustworthy. Clean office. Professional staff.
