Will be finding another primary care doctor having issues with not being concerned about some of my blood work and having abdomen issues and want go further than ultrasound but if you trying to get disability I know someone that goes to him and they sending him to every doctor possible and running all kinds of tests milking the insurance. Wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Doesn't communicate well.

Very uncaring and rude nurse practitioner. I went to Dr. Gipson for a 2nd opinion after being misdiagnosed from my prior physician. I have 2 bulging discs in my back and severe arthritis in my hip, and I walk with a slight limp. He sent me to a specialist who could not even help me. I have missed work and time without help, because I stay in pain. It is very hard to find a caring doctor anymore. They didn't even return my phone calls. My opinion is to NOT waste your time at this practice.

Dr. Gipson is one of the very few old school family doctors left. Great personality and bedside manner. He has absolutely no "God complex" if he doesn't understand what's going on with you, he tells you that and refers you to an appropriate specialist. By far the best doctor I have ever been too. My only complaint is that since selling his practice to Louisiana Heart Hospital, he has lost a lot of really good staff and most of the new staff don't seem to really care about the patients at all

Very kind and patient. Very personable and allows time for you to ask any questions you may have. Always in good spirits when he comes in the room! Great choice for a family doctor!!!
