Dr. Wanda Calvin, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Calvin for over 10 years and when I tell you she is the best, she is. She always listens to my concerns, and we work through the best solution that I am comfortable with. She never pushes me to do things just because and she is always pleasant and wonderful during every visit. If you need a great doctor who will truly take care of you, I recommend Dr. Clavin.

My husband and I have seen Dr. Calvin several times over the last few years. I am 70 years old, and a retired R.N. Dr. Calvin ranks at the very top of all the doctors I have seen my entire life and in many different states we have lived.In my opinion there is not a better doctor.She looks you in the eye while she very attentively listens to everything you say. She is compassionate, extremely smart, on time with her office visits, great at patiently answering questions. Follow-up care after my emergency hospital stay just last week was top-notch; explained lab and biopsy results, arranged the referrals I needed and got me on medication needed.Any poor review by others in this review section should be disregarded . If you are fortunate enough to be Dr. Calvin’s patient you should be counting your blessings.

If you are 15 mins late, you won’t be allowed to see the doctor, but they will make you wait for atleast an hour. Getting an appointment is a big pain, the office is not helpful at all.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lowe’s for years. She gets very confused about medications she prescribes and switches them in dosage and quantity on a weekly basis. She has mid-diagnosed numerous issues and took months to get me the help I needed.. now I’m leaving because she straight up lied about a visit. It’s so frustrating to be treated this way by someone you’ve been with for a while.. someone who can’t even talk to you and makes her assistant give you any bad news. It’s been an absolute waste of time and money. I would recommend you steer clear if you actually want help.

Dr. Wanda Lowe is a rare kind of doctor, in my experience. She makes an effort from Day 1 to establish a relationship with her patients so that she can provide them the best possible care WITHIN the context of their lives. She's always clear about letting you know your options and that you're in control, and she answers all of your questions without hurrying you out of the room the way many other doctors do. And if she doesn't know the answer or feels like you would be better to see someone else about a specific issue, then she's honest to you about it and will refer you to the right place. When you make an appointment with her, you know you'll be seen within 15 minutes or less of your scheduled time. Dr. Lowe clearly cares about her patients, values their perspective and time, and is dedicated to doing her job well. I would definitely recommend her if you're looking for a new primary care.

Dr Lowe takes her time to get to know your medical history before she meets you, she spends time listening and examining you. I appreciate her treatment plan of less is more and then moves to more as it is warranted. I love that she isn't one to automatically prescribe a medicine. I feel respected and that she truly wants the best care for her patients.

My initial visit with Dr. Lowe was great, she listen to me heard my concern and what I had to say and got me the help I needed and put me on the medications that would help me. I had a stroke, but there was neurologist who said I didn't have a stroke and said it was depression. Well after Dr. Lowe spoke to this specialist she then took on his perspective, despite test results and she also begin to say that everything was happening because I was depress. They both were wrong

I went to the Immediate Care office in Westport village Saturday afternoon and Dr. Lowe took care of me. She was very kind and through. It is Monday and thanks to Dr. Lowe and the prescriptions she called in to Walgreens for me, I am 100% better! I just want to thank her and express my appreciation.
