Got Persistent Allergies Under Control

Great allergy/asthma specialist, also does tropical diseases. Moved here from Washington DC, he actually knew my allergist there. Good listener and prescriber, nurse Lorraine excellent as well. I went for a few years until noticeably improved, and would return if anything like allergic rhinitis recurs.

Plagued with allergies to cats, dogs, dust, molds, & pollens for years, I was fortunate to learn about Dr. Pleskow's practice. Other Drs. ordered antihistamines & corticosteroids, then told me to stay clear of all allergens, i.e.; don't go outside. I started allergy shots here and can now say that, with patience, I am free of most allergies, eczema, and only rarely have breathing issues. I've even adopted pets! Love the people here.

Dr. Pleskow is a very smart doctor. He and his nurse practitioner, Lynn are both excellent. The staff is friendly, and it is an old-fashioned type of practice where they answer the phone and know you by name when you come. This is a really nice place. I've been going here for years. It's not fancy, but don't be put off by that.

An extremely expensive snake oil sales man. I had nasal congestion that wouldn?t go away with antibiotics. I went to Dr. Pleskow to get tested for allergies. A couple of technicians did some painful scratching on my back and arms and told me that I am allergic to almost everything, then Dr. Pleskow saw me for about 15 minutes and gave me a prescription for antibiotics and a bill for $905. Neither his bogus allergy tests nor the antibiotics helped my congestion.
