I'd give no stars if possible. I saw Dr Scott a few years ago & haven't been back to a psychiatrist since (and he was unfortunately my first time finally seeing one). I was diagnosed with ADHD & autism as an adult. The first visit was fine, I told him I was fine with meds but wanted to take it slow. Immediately he prescribed something for depression, a PRN anxiety med, and something to help with sleep. Next 2 visits were 15mins tops where I said the depression med was fine so he doubled it (?). Acted like I was crazy on the 3rd visit for wanting to go back to single dose due to side effects. I called him out for just being a prescription pusher & not addressing my executive dysfunction or anything else & he told me to just get up and do the tasks & that ADHD isn't real & that if everyone took the test we'd all be diagnosed with it. He complained about how many patients he had to see & didn't have time to fully treat or talk to each one.

I thought dinosaurs were extinct…
He hasn’t read the DSM since 2005. He refused to listen & thinks books know your body better than you do. God forbid if you’re an addict. Misdiagnosed me with bipolar, destroyed my life with the meds all bc he refused to listen or trust what I told him bc of my past. My current psych. said he needs to retire b4 he hurts more people. I first saw Scott at The Friary. After 8 years clean on MAT, I wanted to be done. He made me feel like &treated me as an active addict. No recognition of my clean time. I felt he was punishing me for coming off it. He hated when I told younger patients to consider the pros and cons of MAT; no one did for me and there I was 8 years clean in detox. Told me I had no right giving advice. The 1st day in 8 years I hadn’t taken bupe, he called me a liar for asking to extend my taper w/ 1mg & said I was drug seeking bc he went by the HEROIN protocol, so I was the problem. How many lives does he have to ruin b4 someone realizes and stops him?!?!

Worst medical professional I've ever seen. Doesn't listen. Bad attitude. Unfriendly. Prescribes high cost medications to patients just to be punitive.

Rude, only concerned about his own agenda. Actually told the patient and his partner to be quiet.

He's the only psychiatrist I've ever been to that never really talk to you about your issues you're having. He's rude and I'll never be back.
