The doctor made me feel comfortable and he always took his time, and explained things. My surgery went well and my hip joint is doing great, and I and in no pain now. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my surgery.

I recently had a consultation with Dr Cohen-Levy for a unilateral knee replacement. Several days prior to surgery, we discovered I have a nickel allergy. Nickel free joint was placed. His bedside manners show that he is caring, sincere and he is passionate about his work. He took the time to thoroughly answer my questions that I had in regards to my joint replacement surgery, what to expect pre/post-op and recovery…along with wound care and PT. He explains everything — the procedure, recovery, what life will be like after knee replacement — thoroughly but in a non-scary way. He’s very upbeat and optimistic. He answered all my questions, and his staff were also very helpful and answered questions. Pre-surgery exercises and information were helpful, and the protocol for information, exercises and physical therapy post-surgery are excellent. He’s an excellent surgeon and a good person.

Doctor seemed rushed as well as staff. Doctor gave me result of one x-ray but not the other one showing severe oseoarthritis

Dr Cohen-Levy recently did my total knee replacement. I think it is rare that you find a surgeon who is skilled and intelligent but is a kind caring human being as well. He was very thorough in his exam, very informative and made me feel comfortable. He was so reassuring the day of surgery as I was very frightened. And when I had more pain than expected a few days later, he called me two times, reassured me, and helped me change my meds to get my pain under control. He is very responsive to any questions or concerns. I fell very fortunate that he was the doctor I chose to do my surgery and I am healing well.

Listens to problems. Gives options to solve the problem. Very thorough and makes sure you completely understand. Very responsive to questions outside your appointment. Great bedside manorkept stopping during explanations to see if we had any questions and made sure we understood. Did not feel rushed. Excellent doctor and would highly recommend.
