Dr. Wayne Hudec, MD

My daughter was referred to a different surgeon for gallbladder surgery who had a two month wait. Our family has used Dr Hudek on several occasions, so we called, they got her in right away and surgery was completed within two weeks. This was her first major surgery, and she had a great experience with timing, bedside manners and follow up.

I was referred to Dr. Hudec by my family physician for a colonoscopy on 11/05/21. I have to say 9 out of the 10 nurses and assistants at NorthHills Surgery center we’re happy and pleasant. Dr. Hudec and the anesthesiologist also were happy and pleasant. Good bedside manner from both. The only hiccup I noticed was not with anyone I encountered that day but with Washington Regional Covid mask mandate. I was vaccinated at Washington Regional. If it was needed to protect the staff I would have absolutely had no problem with it ! I sincerely do not believe that was the issue. There are way too many stadiums, stores, restaurants and etc that are not requiring mask for the strict policy at Washington Regional facility’s. Once again I give Dr. Hudec and personal a “ Excellent “ review. Washington Regional policy a “ Poor “ review. Washington Regional policy maker, please grow up !

Dr. Hudec has a wonderful bedside manner. He spoke with me before both of my procedures and asked if I had any questions. I had no pain following either procedure and the anesthesiologist was brilliant as well. Dr. Hudec came to see me afterwards and relayed his findings, again asking if I had any questions. Dr. Hudec is professional, polite, respectful, extremely knowledgeable and very experienced in his specialty. I highly recommend Dr. Hudec and his team.

Had gallbladder removed and he was wonderful. Very informative!

Dr Hudec is the most caring and straight forward Doctor I’ve seen. Would highly recommend him.

18, yes 18 Hernia surgeries. Claims only put mesh in 4 times, What were the other 14 Surgeries? Records, Gone, even tho there is a 10 year Retention Policy. ( Meaning they are supposed to keep all records 10 years). Terrible bedside manner, commented about my Male Private part, office staff very rude and unhelpful and in my opinion-lies! And good luck in getting your Medical Records, (I mean the ones they do not give you all Records,Makes me Wonder)? Has ruined my life, doesn't mention he is part owner in one of the surgery centers. One of the hospitals that said I had NO Surgeries there, tho I have legal documents showing other. Dr. Hudec Works like he is on an assembly line (as fast as he can)! My last surgery in 2016 He told me h was putting in a Mesh, just as he had said every surgery before, He came out 7 minutes later, telling My wife 2 hour surgery. In my opinion and experience, they change reviews, take bad reviews off, and I have paper that was Forged with My Signature.

Surgery went well and his follow up was great. Would definitely recommend.

We have had the privilege of Dr. Hudec taking excellent care of our family twice. First when our 18-mo old son had a mass removed from his chest. Dr. Hudec was kind, compassionate, and an excellent surgeon for a toddler and his 2 scared parents. Our second was a inguinal hernia repair for me (35-yr old male). He must do great work bc I had very minimal pain and absolutely no pain the first day.

Dr. Hudec is really nice and friendly. He performed my surgery and I have been recovering well. I would recommend him, however his staff isn’t friendly. I’ve spoken Several times with Megan, she is very rude and any question asked she blows away. All she could tell me was “we have 3 business days to fill out paperwork”. If she doesn’t like to work then why is she there. I’ve had many issues with the staff not filling out paperwork correctly it has been a nightmare dealing with them!

Best surgeon I know, have trusted him with my life several times, healed perfect, would highly recommend!!

Dr Hudec was very caring and professional. His staff was very efficient and got me in for an urgent consultation and scheduled me for surgery the next morning and follow up 5 days following surgery. He remedied my problem with great success and am recovering very well. I would highly recommend Dr Hudec's services and his staff to efficiently address any problems and expedite your needs with confidence and competence. I have referred a family member for consultation for extreme health concern

I agree this dr rushes you through, giving the appearance he couldn't care any less about you. The office staff was the same way. Long story made short, it was basically, "Fill this out, pay me, sit down." When I called and complained to the office manager, canceling my procedure and requesting a refund for the 5 minute "office visit"($50!), she ASSURED me she would call me right back. Been over a month. No callback. No refund. Nada. I'll not go back to this office.

Dr. Hudec is very uncaring. Office tries to charge you for every visit - even surgical follow-up which should be covered with procedure. Rushes you out of appointments and doesn't listen. Front office staff person is rude. Impossible to schedule "urgent" appointments. Stay away from this office!

He is professional, kind and a great surgeon!
