Dr. Wendy Marquina, MD

I tried for a week to get a refill of the prescription I needed to take daily, left three messages, had the pharmacy call, and never got either a call back or a confirmation to the pharmacy. I will not be going back and would not recommend her to anyone. I should have listened to the reviews about not caring about patients.

Never had any major problem with this doctor. She's patient when having to handle symptoms descriptions. Very small office in Miami location so wait time is always very short. Her staff is always professional and top notch and tend to keep up and respond instantly to questions, rescheduling, and any issues over the phone. Never had to wait on the phone longer than 6 minutes. Only complaint is the billing is very unreliable. I constantly receive bills in the mail months after appointments, sometimes bills I have already paid for. Three different times I have tried to pay the bill through the mail using the return envelope they send and all three times they say they've never received it and I tend to believe them because the included checks were never cashed. You can always pay the bill in person but the staff will not suggest it unless you bring up the bill payment first

The best doctor if you would like to actually get your problems fixed and the best staff ever! Many ignorant people do not know how insurances work and complain but this doctor is the best in Miami. Don’t listen to the ignorance! You know how Miami people can be when they do not get their way.

I went to dr marquina for my annual was completely disappointed. Office had wrong information about my medical history. Couldn’t have my blood taken lost veins and painful bruises - complete my. Blood work at quest Labs came abnormal no one called to follow up I did and was given ten answer that no one has perfect labs Wanted to make sure doc reviewed them as cholesterol was high glicose too Urine was out of range hot a response everything is within normal discrepancies To actually speak with the doc regarding the labs need an appointment - of course billed and not part of annual that is included Felt very neglected as I know high cholesterol is not normal and should be addressed.

Dr. Marquina does not genuinely care about her patients. She is more interested in billing your insurance, than the actual health of her patients. I am the easiest patient, I am young with no concerning medical history. I do however take medication on a daily basis and only require it be sent to the pharmacy on a timely basis to prevent going days or weeks without supply. In my 1.5 years as her patient, there has never been a time where my medication actually gets sent in on time or a month where I don't lack supply. Obviously with any daily medication, not taking it has adverse effects on me and my life, but this is no concern to Wendy. After canceling 2 appts, she now wants me to wait almost a month for her next available appt, inorder to refil my prescription which is already 12 days overdue to be. I've asked for a telehealth visit instead and no accommodations are being made. I can't say I'm surprised by this as it's truly just a reflection of the way she runs her practice.

THE DOCTOR WAS NOT INTERESTED IN LISTENING TO ME. REFUSED TO ADDRESS MY CONCERNS. EXTREMELY POOR BEDSIDE MANNERS! THIS WAS A TELEVISIT, AND I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO SAY ANYTHING NOR ASK ANY QUESTIONS. OBVIOUSLY, I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN. BEWARE!
