She is most insensitive doctor I have seen. She has no empathy and did not even care to do a full analysis of my daughter when we went to see her about a viral infection. Wouldn't recommend her.

She is an amazing doctor! Very patient. She has been so wonderful with our daughter. Terrific credentials and excellent bedside manner. We are so fortune to have her as our doctor.

First met Dr. Rivers in the hospital, 2nd day of life for my son. She was too clinical. We really needed an empathic doctor. I had an awful c-section and we were having lactation issues. We found her to be insensitive to the situation. When we saw her again, at the pediatric practice, she was so condescending and patronizing that my husband had to walk out of the exam room. I know she is highly educated and knows her stuff, but she does not have a 'bedside manner' and she does not come across as someone who wants to partner with her patients' parents.

So incredibly insensitive that she quite literally laughed in my face when I asked her a question about intense pain that I had been experiencing. I don't mind my doctor being pragmatic and business-first, but she wasn't even particularly helpful when it came to assisting me with any health problem I mentioned. I WAS the kid in these situations, and I would advise you not to put your own in that spot.Years have passed, but I feel confident enough to give that piece of advice. Younger teenagers tend to be insecure enough when it comes to asking questions related to their bodies, even without a doctor being insensitive and immediately dismissing them. Even if your kid is tough and can get past that, it's so beyond unhelpful to have a doctor who just won't listen to their concerns.

She is the most insensitive doctor I have ever seen. She was putting bandage on my daughters wound without a gauge, when I stopped her. I would not recommend anyone to see her.

Very personable and caring. She was the first pediatrician that visited my newborn son. (First child for my husband and I) We had issues with him gaining weight and she helped us through that in a way we were comfortable. She was also patient with me when I wanted a different vaccine schedule, and worked with me although it was different from her recomendation. She Personally called, to check on us at home, and also, to return calls I made to the office as a concerned new mom.
