Great Primary Care Doctor
I have been going to Dr. Liu for 7 years now and have really enjoyed her as my primary care doctor. She is very attentive and will sit down and talk with me about my health concerns. She is not one to prescribe medicine right away which is what I was looking for. Dr. Liu is very knowledgeable and the things she isn't sure in she will research during my appointment and will let me know then and there. All of the specialist she has referred me to have been great as well. I recommend everyone I know who is looking for a new doctor to go to Dr. Liu.

My experience with Dr. Liu left me feeling helpless and abandoned during a frightening medical situation. I came to her as my primary care physician while dealing with severe vertigo and dizziness that was significantly impacting my daily life. The symptoms were so severe that I experienced multiple falls, which as any medical professional knows, could have resulted in serious injury. After several visits where I desperately sought answers and help for my condition, Dr. Liu's response was deeply disappointing. Her exact words were that she "didn't know what was going on" with me. Shortly after, I received a letter officially terminating me as her patient. What's most concerning about this situation is not just that she couldn't diagnose my condition - doctors can't always have all the answers. What's truly unacceptable is that she chose to abandon a patient who was clearly in distress rather than help coordinate care with other medical professionals who might have been able to help. A primary care physician's role isn't just to diagnose and treat, but to advocate for their patients and help navigate the complex healthcare system. Dropping a patient who is experiencing potentially dangerous symptoms, without ensuring they have alternative care options, goes against the fundamental principles of medical care.

I have to be honest, I didn't like her at first and was going to start seeing a new doctor, but before I could get in to see a new doctor I had to be seen so I went to Dr Liu again and had a very different experience. I really like her now, I think she can be misunderstood but I believe she does means well. I will continue to see her and stay with her.

I went in for scheduled physical on 3/08/19 and had my blood lab work prior to seeing her. I had a few questions concerning how to read my lab results. I felt she was condescending towards me. She said don't worry about that result it's nothing to worry about. I have high cholesterol and diabetes runs on my moms side. She forgot to have me take the A1C blood test and it was not on the report. On a physical wellness check I didnt get my eyes/ears checked. I felt she was kind of rude.

I went with my sister to see Dr. Liu. We love that she spends time with us and answers every question. She's the best Dr. she has had. You may have to wait a little while to see her but she spends as much time with you as you need when its your turn.
