The Best At What He Does
Dr. Doyle performed my anterior temporal lobectomy back in 2012 and thanks to him I have been seizure free ever since. He gave me the rest of my life to look forward to seizure free.

Lucky find Dr Doyle 25 Years Ago and what standNow
What stands out during any visit is feeling very fortunate to have Dr Doyle and his assistant, Nurse Alyson Silverberg for my Neurological Medical needs. Brain and head problems have been frightening to me, but as soon as I see them, I feel confidence that I will be fine. And I always am! They know what needs to be done—big intervention or small. Through warmest caring (and calming!) conversations regarding my need for treatment, large or small, I find the reassurance I need to relax and move forward. Dr Doyle is exceptionally excellent because he can be creative in his thinking and I have benefited from this. My only concern is that one day he will retire, but this concern is lessened because Alyson will still be there and a younger doctor who is training with Dr Doyle will be there.I’m imagining nothing could be more reassuring to others as it is to me. Having seizures from infancy till 25 years ago, being seizure free for 25 years now is to be gratefully blessed.

First time I ever had surgery by done by him was in December of 2012. First time I had I had surgery preformed by him on me was for a VNS. Second time my seizures were so so bad I had to be taken in to see if I would be able the RNS implanted, because not everyone is a surgical candidate. Thankfully I was, and normally they wait only 3 months, but for me they had to wait about a yr, because I had gotten a skull infection. And is what the RNS even is. It’s like a constant EEG turned on, but the only thing is itt has only has 2 leads that run off it. So he had to put it in the 2 spots were he had seen them coming from. 7 yrs after I had the VNS put in my body. It went and dotted defected. Last but not least that RNS battery. He had to go and replace it. He is a very nice surgeon. And I’m going to really really miss him when he retires!!!!!!!

I would like to thank Dr. Orrin Devinsky & Dr. Werner Doyle From Hospital Of Joint & Disease & Now NYU for the miraculous 16 hour brain surgery performed for me 27 years ago today for an epilepsy disorder I had for 39 years. They were able to pin point on the brain where the disorder stemmed from, they were able to perform a 16 hour surgery to remove the area of the brain so I would be able to live a much more satisfying life without seizures & medications. Dr. Werner Doyle is an ex element neuro surgeon with excellent bed side manor & compassion to the patient & patients family.

Amazing, patient and knowledgeable
I met Dr Doyle together with a close friend at NYU regarding a possible brain surgery. His specialty is epilepsy surgeries and he worked our meeting quite differently. He did a lot of explaining and questions upfront answering many of my questions and concerns and then I asked what I had remaining. I was very scared of the surgery and he eased my anxiety, for now a new medication worked and surgery is the next step if the medication(s) no longer work

Dr. Doyle is wonderful. I got my right temporal lobectomy done in 2010 when I was 20 and I still to this day remember him coming in and telling me not to worry, he wasn't going to shave my head. Dr. Doyle is kind and gentle when it comes to talking to his patients but what's most important is that I've been seizure-free for 8 years. Because of Dr. Doyle & Dr. Devinsky I was able to graduate university and am now in a doctoral program. Thank you :)

He's the best. You may find yourself in his waiting room for a long time but that's only because he is willing to take as much time as needed to help, advise, explain and answer each and every patients questions and concerns. He said my life and enabled me to actually live.
