Dr. Burrows is an excellent surgeon, and performed a very complex surgery to remove my upper right lung lobe after scar tissue had formed due to chemo and radiation treatment. He explained the surgery through diagrams and answered all questions thoroughly. After surgery, he visited me every day to check on my progress. I highly recommend Dr. Burrows. 12/17/2019 Pasadena, MD

It's difficult to sum up this man in a few words, but I'll try. Dr. Burrows is an extremely kind person and a wonderful listener. He is honest and direct. I trust him implicitly. He explains everything thoroughly and is open to the investigation of new ideas. He is non judgmental about the alternative personal choices of his patients, and makes every effort to ensure his patients feel safe. Plus, I think he's easy on the eyes. ;)

Dr. Burrows is a very intelligent, compassionate and detail-minded surgeon. I am very satisfied with my care surrounding my thoracotomy procedure. I myself am in healthcare and had much understanding, but he made sure my mother and husband had all of their questions answered. He always said he would treat me as if I was his sister and opted for a thoracotomy because it was the safer option over thorascopic entry due to my situation. His staff of NPs, PAs, and residents were awesome too!
