Dr Will Heise has a unique bedside manner, he cares enough to engage and actually listen to his patients. He is always very humble, I doubt he has ever realized or entertained how brilliant a mind he posses.He could be out there making a big name for himself, instead he is giving back to the small communities of Choctaw and Harrah by quietly providing 'a cut above', care. He is quite popular these days, so if you find yourself waiting longer to secure an appointment, consider your blessings that you got one! No, I'm not a relative, just a retired RN who after 37 yrs of personal experience knows an excellent doctor when I meet one...

Too busy to see long-time patient
I've been seeing Dr. Heise since he came to SSM's Choctaw location and even after the move to Harrah's minimalist location. I like Dr. Heise. I believe he cares about his patients BUT, SSM's policies restrain him from following up with patients.After a recent visit to him, I needed to see him again because my issue was worse. Despite using MyChart's messaging, to which no one replied, AND phoning his office, I could NOT get in to see him until May 2024, two months after my initial appointment. Ridiculous!I switched to a different doctor and was able to get in to see him within TWO days of my request for an appointment. Sorry, Dr. Heise. You're a good doctor but what good does it do when an established patient cannot get back in to see you with an existing health problem?
