The worst. Detached, arrogant and disrespectful.
Have never written a review before, but being in the industry and having interfaced with hundreds of MDs and specialists, I think it was important to address an issue growing in prevalence everywhere across society. An extreme and unapologetic lack of compassion and blantant indifference. Dr. Baek represents all that is wrong with a generation of practitioners whom severly lack in the ability to emotionally or intellectually connect with patients at a level needed now more than everto provide true patient care. What degrees cannot teach, Dr Baek lacks in full. It is called the ethic of caring, treating patients as individuals and not an appointment slot or billable code. I don't believe any review where it states they had a good experience with either him or his office staff. Don't fault the staff though, they are a reflection and product of their unimaginably vacuous practitioner. He should be ashamed, but his blind arrogance and utter lack of self awareness wouldn't allow it.

Unprofessional
This review is for the receptionist. Never got to see the doctor. I had a referral for my daughter to come here. I called them on speaker while I was sitting with her primary doctor. They scheduled the appointment, told me to bring her records and not to be late. We showed up 20 minutes early and the HYENA at the front desk was so rude and degrading to me that we left. She said she would not provide me with a face mask because I was not the patient, my minor child was, and I explained had I'd known, I would have brought one. She then said I was a liar and I was told on the phone which I wasn't. That's where the conversation ended and we left. My daughter stated all mean girls at school end up being nurses. She is a horrible mean troll and I would never treat someone so poorly over a mask especially when she picked up a bag of them on her desk to show me it was only for patients

Went to him when my wife began to have difficulty speaking. He sent her for an MRI, went over the results saying it was psychological. Must have had a golfing appointment because this consultation took about 5 min. Fortunately we found a speech therapist who strongly suspected she may have Primary Progressive Aphasia and seek a 2nd opinion. We did so. Current Dr. says therapist is excellent and on the right track and ordered tests to confirm. Therapist had more professionalism and competence.

I had my first appt with Dr. Baek today. I had a very favorable first impression of him. He listened carefully to my concerns about the medication I had been taking for a year and a half, and informed me about other medications I could switch to - their positives and negatives for my specific condition. I liked that he made eye contact, asked me questions directly. Although we had to wait nearly an hour, my annoyance disappeared when I realized he does not rush his patients.

Dr Baek is not the first Neurologist I've been to. The first time I met him I noticed how he took the time to hear my concerns as well as ask questions. I've been under his care for more than a year, and he has been consistent in his efforts, which is why I wanted to write this review. His staff is also efficient and have always returned my calls in a timely manner..

This doctor is awful. He is arrogant, condescending, and has an awful bedside manner. He makes wait a month to get appointment, then you arrive on time and have to wait almost 2 hours to get called. While a sickly bunch of people hack and cough and kids cry in a tiny claustrophobic waiting room. Then you get called to your room while the Dr barks orders at you and you wait while he types in is laptop. What a quack his medical input is so far from helpful. Walk don't run to a more qualified Dr.
