Dr. William Buitrago, MD

My husband had to have an emergency appendectomy. Dr. Butriago made him feel confident warm and at ease during initial meeting, @ pre-op, and post op. He took time to explain who what when where why of the procedure. Along with images, he also took the initiative to send off to pathology for safe measure! I’m an RN with a masters degree, about to be a Nurse Practitioner. I really appreciate witnessing caring competent healthcare professionals in such a jaded askewed industry these days! Thank you Dr. B. for representing. God is so good!

Dr. Buitrago was an excellent surgeon, and the staff was always helpful and kind. Being this was my first time to every have surgery, Dr. Buitrago explained everything to me in a very clear and understanding manner. He took the time to go over the diagnosis and treatment options daily before suggesting the last option which was surgery. He and his staff ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. It's very rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming his patient. It was a warm and wonderful experience from start to finish.

Dr. Buitrago was a blessing, scheduled my surgery in a timely manner. I would recommend him highly to family and friends.

We have been on a very scary health journey with my Father. We have been searching for 7 years now to answer strange stomach issues, we've been to 3 GI Dr's, had countless scopes & EGD'S. All void of answers to the problem, leaving my Dad in dire pain and utter misery. Dr. Buitrago attended my Dad while in Altus hospital and I can tell you, he IS the Dr. for us! The moment he walked in the door, he carried his compassion and gentle bedside manors right in with him! He sat with us, took all the time my Mom and I needed to answer our many questions and concerns. He assessed my Father, his condition and took a thorough background on his complicated medical history. It was refreshing to have Dr. Buitrago reassure us, take the time and not scoot us out the door in a rush. I know if my Friends or Family needs any of the services he offers, he's the Dr. For us. Hes amazing good bed side manners very caring

Dr. Buitrago was an absolute blessing to have as my surgeon. I underwent an appendectomy surgery on a Sunday evening and he was very caring to me before and after the surgery. He explained all of the details of the surgery to me beforehand and took his time answering any and all of the questions my family and I had about the appendix removal surgery. The surgery was a complete success and Dr. Buitrago even came to visit me the next morning to see how I was feeling and to see if there anything else he could do for me to help with the recovery. I felt 100% comfortable in is care. He treated me like family from start to finish.

He took care of me and made should I was feeling well and checked on me when I was in the hospital. And he was the one who did my surgery on me and was well done and afterwards he came to see me in my room and made should I was feeling better and well. I went to see him yesterday for a check up and to see how I am doing and tells me I am doing well I look better I thank him for taking care of me a very nice man
