Dr. Gallagher was fantastic. He ran on time and listened carefully to my complicated medical history and concerns. We had an open dialogue about my care moving forward. I felt as though my opinion counted. His assistant was helpful and patient with me. The x-ray tech was also very kind. When I was upset she sat with me for a minute and gave me a chance to take a breath and chat. I felt as though she truly cared.

Dr. Gallagher is truly an oddity in the modern age of medicine (in the best way possible). This is a doctor who genuinely cares about every patient. He is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He is painstaking in his attention to detail and unbelievably generous with his time. You will not be disappointed with this doctor.

I’ve found Dr. Gallagher’s approach to be excellent for what I want out of a doctor. He asks good questions, and responds to questions with thoughtfulness and without judgment. He explains things very well and with efficiency. His physical exam is always gentle and his treatment approaches start conservative with the easiest way to accomplish a potential result without unnecessary time, money, or energy expended by the patient. I will continue to see him for orthopedic complaints.

I was referred to Dr. Gallagher by my PC physician. My complaint was pain around the bottom of my right shoulder blade. Brought him discs of my neck and back MRIs of past years. He reviewed them, took x-rays, and determined that it was arthritis and stenosis in my neck that was radiating down, and prescribed 8 weeks of PT. I appreciate his knowledge to ID the problem and appropriate treatment.

I saw this doctor several times and he didn’t help me with my pain. He recommended pt and even though I did it for several months, my pain didn’t go away. When I went back to see him, he told me that it was my fault that I was in pain because of the type of exercise I was doing. He also said that talking to me was like talking to a teenager. I am almost 40 years old, and it was the first time someone made such a rude comment about me. I went to another doctor and he found out that I have a discoid meniscus (which is prone to injury) and that I needed surgery. Dr. Gallagher failed to see this, as he was very judgmental of the type of exercise I I was doing at that time.

I went in to see Dr Gallagher for the first time as a new patient. I was very impressed with the office the staff and with Dr Gallagher . Professional, courteous , knowledgeable and very easy to talk to . I felt very comfortable with the approach and his recommendations.

Met with Dr Gallagher to assess shoulder issue. He was able to diagnose and prepare a course of action going forward. Very happy with care I received.

I have been a patient of Dr Gallagher since 2020. He is caring and compassionate. He listens and provides options and answers.

Never read or explained my MRI..he glanced at it for less than a minute, Had the needle, cortisone, out in under 5 minutes..never explained to me the side effects other than non chalantly telling me it would either work or not.Told me I can do anything physically that I wanted to do! Walked into this Dr's office and could barely walk out after he jabbed me..my knee went down hill from there. This was not an injury and never had a problem with my knees and I am a very active person. This Dr. never inquired about my history..nothing..I have a severely torn medial meniscus among so much more ..he said that is not causing my pain! I have never had any pain from arthritis so obviously its my meniscus torn in multiple places causing my pain which has been 10+ since stumbling out of that office. Patient beware.. was rushed and biff boof bam and thank you Mam! How much is that cortisone shot? This person is better suited for young athletic people but not for my situation, worse now.

Today I had a second appointment with this guy and walked away with no clear diagnosis. On the first visit I was told I have arthritis and possibly a torn meniscus. I was given a cortisone injection. Today I saw him, explaining the PT is concerned more aggressive treatment could cause more injury, so they think an MRI would help determine the best approach for treatment. Dr. Gallagher said an MRI would not change treatment and now he thinks it is a soft tissue issue, like bursitis. I have no interest in seeing a doctor who works off mixed guesses for what he's treating. I was able to get a script for an MRI but he was reluctant in writing it. I will take my results somewhere else.

Dr Gallagher ensures he spends the time to explain the test results and treatment plans. He is very thorough and attentive to the patient.
