needs to bone up on the latest research
Dr. Grimes told me a condition that came up on a routine test (not naming it for fear of retribution) was a sign of a really healthy person and I felt my ego soar. But I was intrigued with the term for this condition and went home to look it up. Come to learn that in the last decade (that's a long time) they've rethought this condition and in fact it indicates decent percentage change of a severe and instantaneous heart condition. I mean, please. I'm glad he was in a good mood that day and didn't eye roll, as he can do if you annoy him with your 'knowledge,' but at least convey accurate information. I must say that his nurse practitioner LEROY is SUPERB.

I am a paycheck for him
Not great. He almost laughed at me for being concerned about one issue. He hurried my questions along. Moreover, he is very conventional and doesn't seem interested in expanding his knowledge into new methods of care. It's mostly the lack of true concern for me to any degree. I am a paycheck for him.

Stay Away
At first I thought he was a decent doctor. He does not pay attention to detail he doesnt appear confident as a doctor. When asked who PC doctor is they dont even his name. His name does not up to select

Finding another doctor!
Very unempathic to your issues- bedside manner needs LOTS of work- quick to get you out of the exam room and his responses are short and snarky- his nurse Leroy is amazing though- only reason I keep going back but at my limit now and moving on from this doctor as he causes me pain and anxiety instead of helping me resolve my pain and anxiety!

Mr-I’m Too-Important
He’s too busy to talk with you and gets frustrated if you ask too many questions. His eye rolls and heavy disappointed sighs rival that of any teenager when he wants to leave the room but has to answer your questions instead.

Skip this doctor
Took my father to find out his lab reports because he was having a lot of health issues within a 4 week period and the office never called back about the results. So my sister took my parents (late 80s) in to see the results and he was rude and impatient. He did not know anything about past lab test taken. So he ordered MORE lab test because he didn't order but a few before. He was totally dismissive and aggravated toward my parents. My dad recently has had major issues such as dramatic weight loss, lethargic, no appetite, and is confussed and worried, this doctor totally dismissed him. Working with people is NOT his calling.
