He's gotten too big for his britches!
I've been a patient of Dr. Harmon's for over 11 years. Another Dr. in his office did a procedure on me when Dr. Harmon was unavailable (not the first time!) There was a LOT of blood. I even ended up in the ER a week later. He could not take the time to see me. I had to see a PA in his office 3 different times. I had an appt. for a 6 month follow up in February. When I arrived, I was told my appt. had been moved to April 3rd. They said they wrote a letter to me. I never received this letter. They never called either. Dr. Harmon knows that I have been having a LOT of trouble with excessive bleeding. I was looking forward to my appt. in Feb. so he could check and see what the problem is. His office didn't care when I objected to the change in my appt. To many disappointments. Two more months of waiting for something this severe. It seems that Dr. Harmon has gotten too big for his britches. I referred my best friend to Dr. Harmon a few years ago. He went to another Dr. for the same reason.

Super surgeon and great communicator. Professional and direct approach, courteous, personable and quite friendly. Seeing Dr. Harmon in a clinical setting can sometimes take a while because of his large number of surgical patients, but the wait is well worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Bill Harmon.

After waiting 20 years too long, I needed help with my prostate. A friend referred me to Dr. William Harmon at Urology Associates. There aren’t words to adequately describe how delighted I am with Dr. Harmon. He found my prostate to be grossly enlarged, but also found early stage bladder cancer. After two hospital procedures for prostate resection and bladder biopsies, both requiring overnight stays, I can tell you he is not just very competent, but also a very caring doctor. I’m in the best possible hands. I’ve known many doctors in my 80-year life, professionally and personally. Dr. Harmon is one of the very best! May God richly bless him for the good work he does. The wait time is reasonable (15-30 minutes) and the professional staff is competent, helpful and friendly. Jack R. Landrum, CPA (Retired) San Antonio, TX

Dr. Harmon performed my surgery in June 2018. He comes highly recommended by his peers. He explains things in detail and has time for all my questions. His nurses and office staff are professional and delightful.

Seems Dr. Harman has more important things to do other than calling back his patients who just went through radiation treatment, and see how they are doing. Isn't there a follow up appointment after treatment is completed to see if the cancer has been eliminated ? His staff who answer the phone are much to be desired. They either don't answer or they put you on hold and don't come back. When you call back, the answering box will not take any messages because it is full. Happens all the time !

Dr. Harmon & his office are The Most Caring, Compassionate, Professional, Efficient, Respectful Office I have ever dealt with. I have had to deal with many Offices for my Parents, family members, Myself, etc. This Office is awesome. I highly recommend EVERYONE to this office. I cannot complement them enough. I was set an appt, meet him & discussed our options. He is very down to earth. His bedside manner is wonderful. He listens carefully to all your concerns. He & his staff are very thorough.

Harmon's analysis were poor plus the scheduling folks are poor. I went to see Harmon for a second opinion on a TURP recommendation from another Urologist. After a test Harmon said I did not need a TURP, that the flow should be normal and never was. He prescribed medication. My 3 months scheduled with him was cancelled for unknown reason? The medication he prescribed affected my blood pressure. The Cardiologist asked me to get off of it. I recommend people should look for someone else.

Dr Harmon is very thorough in discussing my medical concerns and I have a high level of confidence in his judgement. I feel like I can reach either Dr Harmon or one of his associates quickly in the event of a problem. Kristin Brooks has been very helpful as well.

On 3-20-2013, Dr. Harmon removed my kidney because it had a tumor on it. He punctured my intestine which resulted in septic shock & put me into ICU in a coma on a ventilator for 6 weeks. Another surgeon repaired the damage done by Dr. Harmon. I had to have 14 dialysis treatments. Dr. Harmon failed to listen to my excruciating pain after the surgery. I would not recommend Dr. Harmon to treat a dog. Dr. Harmon almost killed me; you need to think twice before consenting to surgery by him.
