I saw Dr. Hatchett and found him condescending. I was a first time patient and he never introduced himself. He talked to distract me while he administered the foot injections. This was nice except for the topics he chose. He told me he his patients steal medical equipment like gloves and complained that he has to pay for those supplies. He also told me he taught his daughter to assume everyone you meet is stupid. I don't know why he thought this white woman would find that talk amusing. Kim in his office is condescending and rude. You are charged a $1service fee to use a debit card! I asked her to refund it because I used a medical benefits card that does not allow non-medical charges. She argued that there were signs posted but agreed to the refund right before she hung up on me. I believe they are more concerned with money than good patient care. Besides, do you want to be the "stupid " person that has Dr. Hatchett perform surgery on you? You would probably be overcharged anyway.

Dr Hatchett is the worst .. bedside manner zero recent visit was very disappointing ... did not suggest why or how the inflammation or pain in my foot may have happened prescribed arthritis cream yet did not mention anything about arthritis ...asked me no questions nor provided any suggestions on how to heal or avoid future issues... use cream for three weeks and if it does not help we can do an injection (injection of what or why?) If I could tell my insurance company not to pay him I would do just that.... NOT RECOMMENDED

This doctor has no bedside manner. Talks but does not listen. Rude and condescending. I truly wish my experience had been different.

He was a good doctor for my Mom but when I went to drop off some paperwork to his home office they were closed early both times. I went TWICE to drop off some paperwork so that it could be ready for my mother by her next appointment. I wasted time AND gas coming down here to Ladson especially with the rushhour traffic I'm very upset with this experience and will be alerting the doctor to the things his receptionists do. I live about 40 minutes from there and it's no small feat coming down here.

I am so thrilled I found Dr. Hatchett. I have had a complicated foot and serious toe issue and he gave me three options. I chose the surgical route and he has been outstanding and caring. it helps that my on who is a nurse worked for him and we both have homes on Edisto beach,,,, but all that aside I would trust him with any foot issue I have. I highly recommend him. he answers your questions and is helpful, kind and caring. ;his staff is excellent and always remembers us. kudos to him.
