Dr. William Hawkins, MD

Dr Hawkins delivered my babygirl in May 03, 2024. I wanted a csection and he have me what I wanted and he did great with me the whole time. He is very friendly and respectful. Very gentle and makes good conversations. He was Fast and healed csection really good. His staff is very good at what they do and respectful. I give them 5 stars. Will go to him if I ever get pregnant again. Will refer others to him as well.

Dr Hawkins and his staff are the worst. The doctor is rude. No bedside manners at all. He rushed every appointment. He resented being asked any questions regarding my pregnancy. I truly believe he didn't care about me or my baby at all. The office staff nothing but idiots. I was over a week overdue and he kept rescheduling me. I went the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy without being seen. Finally had an induction scheduled. Ended up with a unplanned C-section. Before said csection my epidural wouldn't work anymore since he had it turned off during labor. He said I wasn't in enough pain to push. 8 weeks pp and I haven't seen him since I was put under for my csection. He never came to see me at the hospital. Infact the day I'm waiting for him to discharge me his office calls to ask why I didn't show up for my appointment. I didnt go see a trusted np for my pp care. 5 days pp my incision was infected. I wish I could go back in time and choose a different ob.

Really horrible. I hope someone reads this and decides to go somewhere else, you will be thankful tou did.

Looooong wait times. Like you need to expect atleast to be waiting an hour after your appointment was booked. Oh and be prepared to sweat like crazy because they will turn the heat on in the office even if it’s hot outside. Not a good mix with a bunch of pregnant women. Also, teenagers can bring their boyfriends into appointments but husbands aren’t allowed. My baby is measuring 3 weeks behind and my doctor doesn’t have a reason and brushes it off. Never got my glucose test which I found out it’s too late now for it. Also never got the rH shot since I have negative blood type and my husband has positive. Also don’t expect to stay in any sort of contact with him because if you need to get a hold of him or ask questions, you’ll need to wait until your next appointment. Or you’ll have to deal with rude front desk ladies when you call. Overall not having a good time and would change my doctor if I could at 35 weeks pregnant. The nurse in the back is nice and the doctor is nice.

He makes complex subjects easy to understand. He never pushes and always has an appointment available. He’s not lazy or greedy. I love him and I will always refer him to friends and family.

Not very friendly, doesn't give the photos of the baby nor the heartrate. Also a nurse doesn't go in the room with him. That's not very professional.

Exteremly wait and very unprofessional

Very professional and never waited longer than an hr. Wish his staff was friendlier and profession but overall his work is great!! Had a csection and can't even tell!!

Dr hawkins is a great doctor its a shame he cant hire more professional staff! I had 2 appointments got 304 bill asked about it and they say my insurance wont cover anything because i have not met my deductible. Call my insurance and they say no it 100% if i pay my co pay which i did. I was not in network but they took my co pays and i am trying to go to new doctor which has requested my results twice over a week ago and the are refusing to send them. This staff has been so rude!!!!! Dont use!!

I have and will continue to refer residents to Dr. Hawkins he is courteous nice and respectful.
