Do NOT waste your time with this person
I was referred to this man by my PC doctor after having a carotid artery issue. After waiting for more than 2 hours, he walked into the room, sat down and said, I’m Dr. Hiltz, there’s nothing wrong with your arteries, you don’t need a vascular surgeon and you should just be happy you don’t need a vascular surgeon. He never mentioned the CT scan and ultrasound I had in preparation for this appointment. He never asked me anything about my reason for being there. I responded with..who would you suggest I see then? He said, you should just be happy there’s nothing wrong with your arteries, stood up and said have a good day and walked out And let me be clear, this conversation with him literally lasted only about 2 minutes…after I waited all that time to see him. This man is a rude, arrogant, and uncaring person and is as unprofessional as they come. He should be ashamed of how he treated me today. Do yourself a favor and FIND someone else!!!

Absolutely horrible! Poor excuse for a doctor. Will NEVER go back there . "this person" was supposed to consult with me regarding test results a few days earlier. He started by saying "you have a lot of things wrong with you" followed by a 10 - 15 minute speech on how he was going to be paid no matter what he told me and mentioned how his wife enjoyed his monetary income. I subsequently picked up a copy of my 2 visits to Augusta Vascular. I was appalled. The paragraph he wrote was a compilation of absolute lies. Things I never said were quoted. The worst experience I have ever had with a so called medical professional.
