Dr. William Koeppel, DO

When my doctor moved to a new city I went on the hunt for a new physician. I couldn’t be happier with where I ended up. Dr. Koeppel listens to all of my concerns, is very patient and thoroughly addresses all of my health needs. I never feel rushed during my appointments and I feel comfortable while in his care.

I have had restless less problems for years. No one ever helped me before Dr Koeppel. He ordered a certain test and put me on Iron. The test showed I was low in a certain part of my blood. I no longer struggle with restless leg. I don’t have to struggle to fall asleep!

My parents have had years of outstanding care at the University of Iowa. When I moved them to St. Louis my husband (a physician) said I will have a hard time finding a primary care doctor as outstanding as the one they had in Iowa. Well, I found him. My parents are working towards 90 with multiple complex medical conditions. When I brought my mom first to see Dr. Koeppel we both walked out of the office at the end stunned by how much we both absolutely loved him (and his staff!!). He is kind, patient, an excellent listener, is thorough, and extremely smart. When I took my mom to her cardiologist two days later her cardiologist looked at my mom’s EMR (electronic medical records) and said Dr. Koeppel wrote an outstanding medical summary of my mom’s visit. And he did it within 48 hours of seeing my mom!!! The cardiologist told my mom he was impressed with Dr. Koeppel. I have switched my own family’s care to Dr. Koeppel, now, also. We are so happy we discovered him and his staff!

I recently started seeing Dr. Koeppel. I do like him, he is quiet yet still personable. He ask questions and seems to care. He sent me updates after seeing him.

He was very knowledgeable, thorough, very clear when explaining medical conditions, seemed very caring and went extra step to check things over. Really liked him.

Due to insurance we once again had to find new doctors. I was so bummed as I really liked my old one and doubted I would find another great one after years of not so good ones. But Dr Koeppel is terrific. My husband and 20 year old son see and love him too. He is a great listener and makes you a partner in your health care. He is also wicked smart!

I was a patient of Dr. Koeppel's when he was at Medlink in Cleveland, Georgia and was very disappointed that he left. However, my loss is a lot of patients gain. Dr. Koeppel does his job as well as any physician I have seen. He gets to know you and makes you feel comfortable as he truly listens to what you say about how you are feeling. My discussions with him were always interesting and informative and probably saved my life in that I in discussing how I was feeling, and my past medical testing results, he started me on a path to discovering a blockage which led to a stent but before I HAD A CARDIAC EVENT that could have ended my life. I am so happy he was my doctor and enjoyed our relationship and the care he gave me. When I moved to this incredible area of Northeast Georgia, I researched local doctors and made a wise choice in Dr. Koeppel. If you are doing this now, I am proud to say what I have said about Dr. Koeppel. He is a GREAT DOCTOR!

Dr. K is an amazing Dr. He actually takes the time to listen to everything you say, answers any questions you have, and explains everything in lamens terms. All this regardless of how long it takes. He truly cares for his patients. Theyre not just another number for him.
