Dr. Long listened, understood, and explained the problem and the treatment. In addition, he took time to chat with me and my wife! I would encourage anyone needing a podiatrist to go out of their way to see Dr. Long!

Finding Dr. Long was shear luck. I suffered with a bunion for years which I had been seeing a different Dr. Along comes Dr. Long who is delightful, happy, jolly and has a wonderful way of talking with me. After looking at my foot, ordered x-rays. He said he could help my bunion with surgery, I knew that it was the only way out of the pain I was experiencing. I felt an immediate connection with him, I knew that I could trust him. Surgery went perfectly, I have no memory of it. Fortunately, he gave me his cell phone number in case of a concern. I needed to call him twice about the pain in my foot. He met me at his Spartanburg office on Sunday morning after my surgery, he unwrapped my foot and re-wrapped it to lessen the pain caused by the swelling. I was blessed by the Lord to have a Dr as caring as he is. At my follow-up appt, x-rays showed that my foot was aligned properly. I am thrilled that I discovered Dr. Long, you will be, also. Wish I'd gone to see Dr. Long much earlier, instead of putting up with plantar fasciitis for months. He quickly and completely explained my x-rays and treatment options, and with very little expense or effort on my part my foot is now well on the way to recovery. I'm taking long walks again! And - this is the real reason I'm taking time to leave a review - Dr. Long is so animated and cheerful and seems absolutely delighted with his profession and the opportunity to help his patients, that I left the office feeling downright joyful. The staff was all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable as well. No exaggeration to say this was the best medical office experience I've ever had.

I had foot surgery to straighten a toe. He greatly underestimated the amount of pain and the longggg healing process. It sort of fixed the problem but now my toe is numb. He also did not answer my questions and seemed to want to rush off to the next patient.

Dr Long and Dr Heugel are excellent podiatrist and were able to save my right foot after seeing another doc for over 6 months who was unable to help. Their practice is NOT related to the first doc's practice. They are both highly focused and will do their best to help you with your foot problems. Honestly, I can NOT begin to explain how very impressed with these amazing physicians.

Dr Long is very knowledgeable, so kind and most patient. I went to him about six months ago suffering from plantar fasciitis for years. I left his office pain free and remain so to this day. He is truly my hero and I highly recommend him to anyone with foot pain of any nature.
