Dr. William Luke Jr, MD

My primary care doctor made a referral to Dr. Luke. I anticipated it would take a while to get an appointment with his office so I wasn’t overly concerned that I had not heard from them within the first month. I ended up calling them a round week four or five to inquire about when I may be able to get an appointment. The person answering the phone was very unconcerned with me and not helpful at all. Each time I have called she would say we have received a referral and it’s on his desk and once he has time to review your referral we will let you know if you’ve been accepted as a patient. During my last call to them, I finally asked them to be transparent with me as to whether he will accept me or not. I was told I’m better off calling another cardiologist who has time. I feel like if he was not going to accept me as a patient, a decision should have been made, and I should have been notified. Their lack of concern for people needing specialty care, such as theirs, is troubling.

Dr. Luke really listens to you, doesn't rush at all, and seems genuilly concerned with any issues you are having. Wish all the doctors would take lessons.
