A caring physician
Dr. Mahoney is always willing to listen to my concerns and answer questions. I never feel rushed. He also performed my full right knee replacement and I was pleased with the outcome and will be scheduling my left knee replacement later this year.

Meaningful discussion of my issue
I have seen many orthopedic surgeons over the decades. Dr Mahoney ranks at the top of my list. We went back and forth on the options for my knee. We agreed on a conservative approach for now. No need going into detail. I want people to know he listens to you. Bottom lineI was not rushed. Very important for me.The last surgeon I saw I felt rushed like he had a date.

Excellent Doctor!
Dr. Mahoney was warm and caring and listened to my concerns, answering questions, providing support for pain management as well as recommendations for getting back to work after my fractured wrist healed. I am very happy that we found him!

Intelligent, Trustworthy, Knowledgeable A REAL MD!
( DOCTOR MAHONEY DID A GREAT JOB !!! )What a pleasure again to meet with Dr. Mahoney. My aunt had a hip operation 120324. rod and pins. (96yr old, WAS like a 70yr old in good shape, THOUGHT she was a 60yr old) Dr. Mahoney is very Knowledgeable of his chosen field. He is very honest and gave me hope for her future.Dr. Mahoney explained what happened, what's coming and probable prognosis.The hospital only did 14days therapy ( threw her out on Christmas eve 122424) went to a rehab center ( she got worse-unable to progress ) (threw her out 010925) went to another rehab-nursing home. Today, 011425 still no progress. The nursing homes will only do what is minimally required. Not much can be expected. The patient MUST push themselves to meet baseline again. I hope she can take care of herself again and come home. But ME-MYSELF-& I don't think she'll ever walk again. The guilt I carry now is destroying my health as well.
