Mindless Drone
Incompetent mindless drone. Appointments are very rushed. Doctor is very cold. Does not care what you have to say. Tells you that you’ll most likely end up back in the hospital in the near future when all I have is a sleep disorder and problems with my mother. Will hide important details to get you to sign legal medical documents, which is him breaking the law. Stay away from this doctor. If you get assigned to him because you’re in a program immediately ask to be reassigned to a different doctor. Protect yourself, your health, your money and your time and get a real doctor who will actually care to listen to you and help you with your health. Just like a real doctor should.

Fast to push meds and is odd.
Very rushed. Very cold. Quick to prescribe medicine and even quicker to prescribe medicine for side effects and adverse reactions of previously prescribed medications. Didn't seem interested in my experience, just about writing scripts. No overlap from therapy to meds. Felt like I had two different teams pulling in two completely different directions. Demonized anything that wasn't paralogical, answer was always higher doses or more meds until I became a walking zombie. For someone new to mental health, his brand of medicine pushed me out of medical treatment and therapy for 2 years.

Incompetent, misdiagnosed a sleep disorder. The psychiatric nurse practitioners at CHI were way better at addressing concerns. Don’t waste your time or money on him.

First visit he was unwilling to offer any extension of trust, little patience, hardly a moment of silence to hear what I had to say. Definitely not recommended.

The Doctor spent 1 hour with me in 4 days and rendered his judgement. I was told I was suicidal and on the the wrong medication without the understanding I was working on weaning off said medication. He then suggested putting me on Remeron, serotonin and epinephrine based, which through personal history and trial and error with my Internist made my anxiety extremely worst. the Dr Marcil should have studied more! He referenced my weight to a concentration camp prisiner. My health has been go
