Dr. William McCafferty III, DO

Dr. Mc Cafferty is a real person . He ACTIVELY listens . He cares genuinely. I was in sooo.. much pain with sciatica. He helped alleviate my pain . He saw me a whole person , not a number . We discussed my options . He let me decide . So many practioners cut ,copy , and paste . Dr . McCaffery is a true GEM! He is the doctor of choice for me and family !!!

Was seen 20 minutes past my appointment time due to the doctor engaging in a loud prolonged conversation In the next room and then hallway with his male student doctor and a male patient about the topic of young hyper s**ual women and how you want that in a wife not in public. Instead of shutting down the unprofessional talk, the Dr participated. I heard disgusting, misogynistic, dehumanizing, and objectifying views about my gender from the physician who was about to treat me. While the doctor was professional to me, hearing the things he had just talked about in the other room did not lead me to feel safe during my appointment and I do not trust this man to treat women and gender non-conforming patients with the respect and humanity they deserve.

He got right to the problem, gave a diagnosis, and helped relieve my pain. He gives you confidence immediately. I’ve already recommended him to my friend.

I felt rushed and like I was a bother to him. I was always told I had arthritis for over 30 years and he says no. I was tested for it. I have muscle spasms everyday he says they are normal. This was a waste of my time he has no idea what I go through, but according to him it’s all normal. His bed side manner is horrible.. never again.
