Excellent medical care with Dr McDouglas
My husband sees this doctor for a few years now and very satisfied. The doctor spends time explaining conditions and medications. He seems truly interested in the patient's goals and lifestyle. Very experienced and prescribes medications when necessary but is not just a pill pusher. He also spends time educating on strategies for self-care, diet and exercise in a non-judgmental way. Promotes natural health care based on scientific evidence, not quackery. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and really knows what he's doing.

Excellent doctor……family doctor for us. Best ever!
A very good personality and spends time on all issues. Is especially good at diagnosing. Will listen and then proceed to solve issues. Staff is very efficient and knowledgeable. Will do treatments in office if possible, or suggest appointments for further treatments. The best doctor and office personnel I have ever had…..an asset to our Brookings community!

Called multiple times to try and get a appointment. Staff doesn't answer phones regularly. When I did get an appointment. I was asked to sit in the waiting room and was forgotten about. Doctor Mcdougall's staff is lacking

Spends over an hour with me, even on follow up visits! He's been correct on all my issues, and has referred me to all the right specialists. Warning: He is a devout vegan. If you visit him with weight related health issues, fasten your seat belt.

Dr Mc Dougall is full of himself. He refuses to wear a mask and practically ridicules you if you do wear one. He is a nutjob!

Don't recall last saw him, but went to him with a right shoulder problem and afraid it was rotator cuff, he diagnosed that was not the problem and proceed to treat me. A few months ago I started having pain in the same shoulder and went to my doctor in Oroville, CA where I have lived for 3 years. My doctor here thought it was rotator cuff but I told him no because of the solution Dr Mac used. Had surgery 11 days ago, Out Patient, home the same day and have a small 2 in scare healing and have more reason I believe Mac is an excellent Doctor. My LifePartner, Bruce Warren knew Mac a lot of years and that's how I became a patient and wouldn't hesitate to have him as my doctor if I get to move back to Oregon.

I actually saw Stacy, NP . She’s great! But.., Very strange office/ waiting area. A woman reprimanded me for looking through one of many books on the counter. She was visually blocked from sight behind a large monitor in reception area and gave no indication she knew I had arrived, nor greeted me. Odd After sitting without acknowledgement I went back with asst. for BP and weight. Then returned to the lobby. I waited for over an hour in all. After being rudely barked at by this woman I noted that it was awkward to have the vitamins and interesting reading material placed on the counter and apparently “ in her space” because it’s natural to be interested. I did not attempt to disturb her nor converse, her vibe extremely toxic. Out of nowhere she told me I could leave if I didn’t like it, I was shocked and uncertain as to what she referred to. The obvious remedy would be to greet a patient, share info, explain you’re busy and promote well being, not anger, not rudeness
