Dr. William Montross, DPM

Had foot surgery from Dr. Montross and have been in pain every day since; Before surgery, I had NO pain! Have seen 2 other podiatrists since and neither was impressed with my surgery from Montross. Now I need more surgery!

I waited until 4 1/2 months after the extensive surgery on my right foot so I could give a rearview mirror look at the success of the surgery and the quality of post-surgical care from Dr. Montross and staff. I had the surgery Jan 11, 2019 and today as I write this, it is May 26, 2019. Surgery included an ankle fusion, achilles tendon lengthening, repair of a ruptured tendon and realignment of the heel bone. I am doing great! Power walking 2 1/2 hours every day, balance is much better and virtually no discomfort at all. All this at 69 years of age. Dr Montross is an exceptional surgeon and beyond his surgical skills, his post-surgery follow-up is remarkable. I have seen him 5 times so far since the surgery (no PA instead of him) and had x-rays twice during that time. I was very active before the surgery so this surgery was a huge leap of faith for me. I am much more active now thanks to the care of Dr Montross and staff. Thanks to the doc and staff!

Bunion surgery on left foot went perfectly. Recovery was pain free in cast, after surgery.Still no pain saveral years later. Surgery on right foot went just as well the previous year. Only problem was my body didn't like opiods immediately after surgery. So went quickly to Tylenol which sufficed. Referred others to Dr. M who also had great experiences.

Discussing plans for bunion surgery, we never discussed fixing the reprocussuons of the bunion- rebuilding the adjacent toe, causing pain. Therefore, I conclude that two surgeries would have likely been required on a job that only required one surgery.

Dr. Montross is probably a fine foot doctor and I am sure that every doctor has an off day or two and apparently he worked on my foot on his off day. I am now seeing a second doctor after Montross and neither one have been impressed with what he did in my foot. My foot in now worse than it's ever been, even after two surgeries performed by Montross, and now I am looking at even more extensive work. I would never tell someone to not see him if you need help but I know I never will again.

I have found that Dr. Montross and his staff, both at the office and operating room are excellent. I had to have my ankle basically rebuilt and screws inserted. They did an excellent job and it was fused 100%.

I have been with Dr. Montross for a very long time. I would never want to go to another Podiatric Surgeon.

He is great saved my dad's foot twice now

Dr. Montross is very thorough, meticulous and has a great bedside manner. I have been very impressed with him and his staff and would recommend him to any one I know who needs a podiatrist! Love his sense of humor as well - eases the nerves.

For starters... it took an 45 min - 1 hour to actually see him. He spent 4-5 minutes with me and made me feel very rushed. I am finding a new Podiatrist and would not recommend him to any of my friends or family.
