Dr. William Pelton, MD

I have had several medical issues that required urgent care. Each time I try to call the office for an appointment or treatment. My call goes to voicemail which is not answered for several days requiring subsequent phone calls. in the end I often have to just walk in to the office without an appointment and demand to be seen.

Dr. Pelton is through, knowledgeable, informative, and affable.

Dr Pelton & his professional staff always make a sincere effort to be on time for appointments! And while they have to keep the office visits moving right along, h they do make a sincere effort to listen to a patient describe their problem/issues. And, based on my personal experience they are always kind and compassionate-appearing!

His wife hung up on me! I called to make an appointment and the receptionist told me they hadn't heard of my insurance. I called my insurance to check since I had found the number from their provider search. I called the dr back to tell them they are in fact an in network provider and my insurance company told me you could call the number to confirm. She said she doesn't do that but I could call billing. I called billing and they said they do accept my insurance and they'd send the office an internal message. I called the office back and said they were sending an internal message and that it is accepted. She told me she would have to wait to get the message and call me back. I asked for a manager. The next woman (the wife) told me their office is not a good fit. I told her she lost business because the receptionist doesn't know which insurance companies are accepted. She told me they have thousands of patients they weren't worried about it. I asked if she was the manager she said owner

I have recommended him many times. Been a patient for 15+ years. He actually listens your concerns, provides prompt treatment and refers you to appropriate specialists when needed. Very personable and professional doctor.
