Dr Sternheim was up front from the very first visit. He explained everything in plain language and was able to set my expectations as to what the treatments can do for me. He listened to me, and answered all my questions. I felt that he understood me and sincerely cared for me I’m sorry he is retiring before my treatments are completed, but after all his 42 years of practice, I wish him well as he enters his next chapter

I was very impressed with the staff and especially the doctor. Dr. Sternheim was very friendly and very thorough. He was very patient and answered all of my questions and concerns.

In January we visited Dr. STERNHEIM after having a knee surgery The surgeon detected an increase in the numbers of my plaquetas and ask me to look for an hematologist.Dr Sterheim checked the numbers and said everything was OK and asked me to return in 3 months.In my last visit he explained what could have happened before the surgery ,took new exams and release me.I have nothing to be worried.

If anyone needs a hematologist, I highly recommend Dr. Sternheim. Although it was my initial visit, the minute he introduced himself, I sensed I was in good hands and I was right. He was thorough in his examine, knowledgeable in his field, detailed in explaining the procedures necessarily to find a proper diagnosis, and overall extremely pleasant to associate with. Furthermore, I had a wonderful Phlebologist and felt no discomfort or post bruising after the blood was drawn. Bottom line, it's really comforting and reassuring knowing you're in the care of a team of experts.

I already expressed that he makes me feel secure and safe. He is very friendly and easy to talk to.

My husband, Keith J. Jones, was a patient of Dr. Sternheim in 20ll and 2012. My husband had kidney cancer. Dr. Sternheim was upfront, caring, innovative, and worked with the utmost of integrity to help us through a horrific time. We saw Dr. Sternheim weekly for a year. Here it is 2020 and I can not forget the excellent care he gave my loved one. Thank you Dr. Sternheim. I have thought of you often, especially when I passed your office and wanted to thank you, again, sooner.............

My nightmare began when I had to wait more than an hour before I saw the doctor. if you do not care about time, then this is an office where you can spend half a day waiting for a doctor. but the surprises did not end there. As expected, I paid for the visit, which was $ 25, but after 2 weeks I received an extra bill that says I have to pay another $ 5, I was very surprised by this because I was not informed about it when I called the office to find out why I should pay extra I was told that, it turns out, the tests were done 2 times, right in his office and some of the tests were done in a completely different laboratory. I was charged twice because another lab sent a bill too. I asked why you didn’t tell me that you were going to do the tests and charge me extra. I did not get any clear answer to this question. They never warn you about how much money you will have to pay extra from your wallet.

Dr. William Sternheim is not just an excellent doctor who listens well and explains treatment plans thoroughly. He is compassionate, witty, and genuinely cares about his patients and staff. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sternheim was absolutely wonderful in the first office new patient visit. He was so attentive, so excellent in his manner, so interested in sharing so much information. Having seen a lot of doctors recently, I can tell you that Dr. Sternheim was just the BEST! WOW were we lucky to get him as luck of the draw when we made appointment with the Hematology Oncology Association, (the other doctors there could as equally good, I guess) His staff seemed to work beautifully and efficiently too.
