Extremely nasty nasty doctor yells at patient

1) An incorrect diagnosis of HIV was input into my medical records. You can imagine how alarmed I was when I saw this documented in my records. I was informed by the receptionist that they had the ‘wrong file.’2) No mention whatsoever of my very rare auto immune disease, hypogammaglobulinemia, anywhere in my medical records which I’d discussed in length with Dr Sunshine. 3) Inaccurate blood test results documented in my records indicating that I did not have any type of arthritis although I was diagnosed with arthritis, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in practically every part of my body. Dr Sunshine should no longer be practicing medicine based on the above treatment and inaccurate info and test results that I received. When I contacted his office to discuss the above and requested a call back from Dr Sunshine pertaining to same, I never received a return call. My new physician has properly diagnosed me and is treated me for chronic pain with exercise, Meloxican & Pregabalin.

Dr. William Sunshine has been treating my psoriatic arthritis for the past seven plus years. He is amazingly kind and personable, but more importantly, he is very knowledgeable and readily shares that information with the patient. Dr. Sunshine also keeps up with the latest drugs and treatments for your ailment. He is a consummate professional and never rushes you out of his office, visiting him is like a visit to a dear friend. The office administrator, Reini, is every bit his equal, she is more than proficient and skillful. She is friendly and welcoming. Be secure and comforted that she knows her job and consistently does what’s right for you, the patient. Messages are delivered and answered promptly as well as prescriptions to your pharmacy. In this world of uncertainty, you are placing yourself in the safest hands between Dr. Sunshine and Reini, if you need the best rheumatologist in the Boca area please do not hesitate to call Dr. Sunshine and tell Reini, Debby sent you!

I have been a patient of Dr Sunshine for over 10 years. Not only does he listen to you he explains everything to you in a way you can understand. His office is busy but he is very within a reasonable time of your appointment. If you call in an answer is always fast and Rene his receptionist will be the most helpful to get you an appointment quickly if you’re in need. I have found her to be the best help of any doctor I see be it in Fl or my home in Ct.

He never even looked at any of my records or reports. Said he doesn't offer common medications for Osteoporosis, only endocrinologist do, which is VERY not correct. He couldn't even refer me to anyone and said there are no qualified endos in South Florida, or even U of M. This is the short version, as writing a long winded review wouldn't do me any good. He plainly was unknowledgeable, nor helpful or truly concerned. He wasted my time, but gladly took my money!

Dr Sunshine was extremely professional and helpful. He took the time to listen to me and helped to determine what tests/xrays I needed. When the tests came back he reviewed them with me and explained the diagnosis in easy to understand terms. Dr Sunshine and his staff were wonderful!

I had this Dr. for 2 years trusting what he was reading in the computer about my lab test results. When I requested a medical record the conditions he said I had was not in the medical records. Be aware of this doctor.

I saw Dr. Sunshine last week for severe pain in my joints stemming from a fall. I found him extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and explained everything from soft tissue issues to arthritis. He took his time and answered all my questions without me feeling rushed or nervous. I’m from NY, a snow bird, and I’ve been very hesitant about Florida Doctors. All my concerns disappeared after meeting with Dr Sunshine. I highly recommend him. I got the recommendation to see him from the head of rheumatology at Northwell Medical Center. You will not be disappointed! Office staff was wonderful as well.

I visited Dr. Sunshine a couple weeks ago because I have been having pain in my joints. I went in for my appointment and the staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. While explaining my problem to Dr. Sunshine, I got the feeling he wasn't listening to what I was saying. He finally realized it also and quickly apologized. The appointment ended and I walked out without making a follow-up visit. I felt I wouldn't get the care I needed from this disinterested doctor.

Great staff and communication. He wants to resolve your health issue in a kind way.

I was very nervous about seeing a rheumatologist for the first time, let along going to a doctor in the middle of a pandemic. Dr. Sunshine’s office was pristine, appointment times were spaced out so I didn’t see another patient, and all covid precautions addressed. He took his time with me, was very patient with all of my many questions, and did a wonderful job of explaining things. So very glad I found Dr. Sunshine!

Dr Sunshine is sunshine. He is very thorough, explains and took his time to answer my questions. The doctor has a fabulous personality.

I have complete confidence with Dr. Sunshine's care. I look forward to seeing him for every visit. There is no wait time to see him. He asked me questions to assess my condition, and - understands and knows how how to treat it. He has contacted me back over the phone the same day I left a message regarding a difficult circumstance with my condition. He was able to schedule me to come in that same day. His Office Manager, Rene, goes above and beyond to make sure that I am in good hands.

Dr. Sunshine is a caring and understanding doctor. He listens when you talk and he addresses your concerns. He explains that sometimes their may not be an exact answer but that he is going to try his best to find the problem. I have been through many doctors and he is kind, experienced, knowledgeable and even funny. He has given me hope which I haven't had for a long time. His staff Rini (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong) is also just as wonderful and caring. I would recommend Dr. Sunshine!

Upon the recommendation of my gyn after a rather dismal bone density test result, I made an appointment with Dr. Sunshine. He did not acknowledge my concerns regarding the drugs used to build bones which have deteriorated due to osteoporosis as I have many dental issues and these drugs may exacerbate or create a jaw bone problem. He disregarded my questions with a wave of the hand while continuously responding to his wall size computer screen. He is arrogant and not "user" friendly.

As someone in my early 20's with an auto immune disease, it's safe to say that doctors visitors can be trying. I don't fit the typical mold, and so many doctors have had a hard time with me as a result. Dr. Sunshine is nothing short of amazing. He has a true passion for what he does, quality patient care/interactions sustain him and HE LISTENS. Far too many of his on quality of life through taking things away; everything with him is about giving. I can't say enough good things.

Great doctor, takes his time with you explains everything in verbage that is understandable. One of, if not the best Dr I have ever had ! His assistant is equally as nice. This practice has definitely been a blessing, don't find this very often these days.
