I had had 2 unsuccessful hand surgeries for the same problem and the hand surgeons that I saw about it said that there was nothing that could be done. Dr. Ward said that he would try to correct the problem but gave me only a 50% chance of success. I agreed to take the chance and the surgery was successful. He also agreed to let me approach my post surgery care in a different way than is protocol and I believe that made all the difference in my recovery.Dr. Ward is caring, respectful, listens well, is supportive and explains things in a way that is understandable.

Dr. Ward is very knowledgeable, very nice and explained all my options. The staff was very kind also.

Dr Ward has a great bedside manner. He talks openly to you the patient. He is encouraging and his expertise is obvious as he talks to you about your medical concerns. I was so pleased to have been referred to him.

I drive approximately 9 hours RT, to see Dr Ward. I am very thankful I was referred to Dr Ward to fix my wrist from a 1993 injury. I was treated back in the day, lived with bone popping out of place, figured out how to pop it back in place until I no longer could and ultimately had surgery including hardware in Charleston, in 2018 and 2019 to fix my wrist. After a fall in 2020, the hardware came apart. The pain and limitations were unbearable and unfortunately misdiagnosed. I was referred to another surgeon who diagnosed the problem, he referred me to Dr Ward. The referring surgeon said Dr Ward is the only person he knew who might be able to fix my wrist. Long story short, I got my life back. I have limitations, I wish were just a bad dream, but at the end of the day, I am fortunate to be able to use both hands and no need for pain killers. I recommend Dr Ward to anyone needing a surgeon who listens, does their homework and wants only the best for their patients. ??????????

Dr. Ward not only is an amazing orthopedic physician/surgeon , he also has a great personality as well. It’s often hard to find a doctor that you not only have confidence in but also feel comfortable discussing your problems with. Dr. Ward is one of those rare finds. Definitely a 10 out of 10 from me!

I've been going to Dr Ward along with my husband for over 10 years. He is the best!!! He is so gentle you don't even feel it when he is giving you an injection. I hope he is around as long as we are alive!!!

Dr Ward has done my Husband 2 hands and is now my surgeon. So friendly, knowledgeable, Professional and takes time with each patient and his Nurse and PA are also fabulous

He is very knowledgeable, listened to my history and answers questions. He also provided immediate X-ray and options of my choice for treatment.

Just want to say thank you so much to a wonderful compassionate doctor, Dr. Ward. He has a heart of gold and is the true meaning of what a doctor is supposed to be for the patient. Dr Ward takes his time to listen to your problems, explains his plan of care. Never rushes you, answers any questions you may have snd will go that extra mile so you understand him . Awesome staff, Kelli, Dr. Wards nurse is so kind and sincere. Dr. Ward and Kelli are such a blessing .

Dr. Ward has been my doctor for the past 24 years with multiple, successful surgeries for corrective issues with my right arm including ulnar nerve transposition and an Aptis wrist replacement 10 years ago that has been such a blessing with my daily activities.
