Dr. Wilson has been our PC Dr., for well on 23 years he and his staff are the most dedicated team you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. I had an emergency several years back on the 4th of July no less and was unsure if i should go to the emergency room, even though it was 6am when i called his service paged him and he called me back within minutes. He even called the hospital to let them know i was on my way and why, saved my life that morning. I could go on and on about him, we love him so much we are trying to convince him to relocate when we retire but I know that wouldn't be fair to his other patients.

Bad experience
Dr Wilson was my doctor when I first moved to VA years ago. There was never any follow-up to discuss results of routine blood work. The office said "if you don't hear anything back, it's all fine". This is poor patient care in my view. Doctors should always review results, explain what they mean (good or bad) and allow patient to ask questions. There are so many instances where blood results might get lost or not ordered/processed correctly. When a patient directly asks for results, the response shouldn't essentially be 'we'll let you know if there is anything you need to know'. He then went into "concierge medicine". Why pay even more for case that was not great as a general practitioner.

Excellent. Have greatest confidence in his ability and approach. Was in very poor health when first became a patient. He listened and acted. I was referred to the right specialists who were also great. He is proactive in preventive measures and has been able to keep my health most satisfactory for a couple of decades. Consider myself most fortunate to have found him. I've waited a couple of time, but am happy to do so as I know that if it was me that needed the exact time, I'd get it.
