Dr. Wirostko exemplifies the way in which all practitioners should interact with patients. He takes time to review the chart before he comes into the room, greets you with a handshake, has a scribe enter notes into the computer, and when he is through with the exam sits down and moves next to you to discuss his findings and recommendations. He answers my questions in a way I can understand and doesn't make me feel rushed. He inspires confidence and trust. I highly recommend him to others. I have been a patient at the Eye Institute for over 20 years and found all the staff from front desk to MDs to be excellent. As a retired RN I appreciate being a patient in an academic setting.

I appreciate the doctor's friendliness and willingness to answer my questions. Also like very much his having a tech enter info on the computer. I believe it speeds up the appointment as well as creating a better interaction between patient and doctor.
