Dr. Wilson Lopez, MD

I’ve been with Dr. Lopez since 2014 as a patient. And to read these reviews and to see that he has a two star rating. It’s absolutely unheard of. This man is the best doctor that I have ever had in my entire life and I’m almost 60 years old. These people are not telling the TRUTH in these ratings for him.. first of all we all make mistakes, and if there was a mistake made by that office trust me, it was not intentional on their part. Dr. Lopez, Carla and the whole team is amazing and so kind and they always and I repeat always find out what is wrong and they address it and then it disappears out of your life and you’re more comfortable. I can’t believe these grown adult adults just because it didn’t go their way. Maybe but have the nerve to write anything bad about this office. I highly recommend this office 1000%. Thank you so much family pediatrics Dr. Lopez and everybody that works there. You guys are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend you go and you’ll never be disappointed!!

Perfectly bilingual, has office on Coral Way and in Doral. Very knowledgeable, answers all questions, develops clear plan of action, friendly, caring. His current Nurse Practitioner Gabriela Quintana is excellent also. New staff has made a dramatic change in ease of getting this done. They are all friendly, caring, attentive to your needs, focused on their work and assisting doctor and making sure you are comfortable. Recommend his Doral office!!!!!! Highly recommend him or Nurse Practitioner Gabriela.

The staff overcharged my daughter on her visit and they still have not given the money back. Karla Chavez is the office manager and she was extremely rude and not responsive. I called my insurance and they contacted the office without any luck. My daughter’s visit was paid by the insurance on 10/20/23 and within the payment was the explanation of benefits reflecting the correct copay and still my daughter has not received her money back. I’m at the office for the 3rd time trying to get the money back and Karla still not responding or assisting.

Be aware!!! they will make sure to charge you with the maximum from your deductible. Cigna contracted to charge $72 to $95 for a regular visit. They wanted to charge me with $160 because they wanted to help me cover my deductible faster.

My PSA went from 1.5 to 3.73 over 3 years and Dr. Lopez never said a thing !! Saw urologist in other issue only to find aggressive Prostate cancer. I could have dies under Dr Lopez watch

Dr. Lopez is extremely rude to treat patient's complaints about the staff customer service. He takes complains very personal and do not listen the patient. He is just concern about his ego instead of the patient well being. They have a huge logistic problem in the office that make the referral process a total nightmare. It took me 3 months to get a referral even though my daughter was in a very critical health condition. Totally inappropriate and unprofessional.

My husband was vomiting for 2 weeks 3 times a day, loss of balance and headache and the doctor only suggested eating better. There was no interest in investigating what happened. Two weeks later my husband was operated for 13 hours on a 36.3 mm head tumor. Where is the Hippocratic oath? Where is the interest for a patient's health and not for money?

I was treated by a doctor was super bad, I did not like it in the least...

This is the WORST practice ive been to thus far. The ladies in the front Jenny and Karla (don't know which one is worse) are extremely rude, poorly educated, arrogant, lack of customer service and really can care less about patients. I waited over 2 weeks for my blood work and missed my appointment because they had the wrong number when I clearly provided it in writing and verbally. I'm disgusted by the staff! I will never recommend anyone here!

The two doctors and phlebotomist that see patients in this location are good, knowledgeable and respectful. Other than that, this practice is AWFUL. I've never seen such DEFICIENT customer service. Their problem is the staff. The ladies are extremely rude. People walk in, they never say hi. If you stand in front of them, they just keep on talking (bitterly) to each other. When it's your turn to go, they are rude, cold and arrogant. Did I mention they made a mistake that is gonna cost me $350?

To get in contact with the office for appointments, referrals or help is almost impossible.

Almost 2 hours waiting time for a Family Doctor , too much!

I don't now Dr Lopez, but employees who get appointments and care for patients, Karla and Jenny are poorly educated and poorly they treat people. Provide an appointment (to me) over the phone and when the patient arrives for appointment they say no one gave that appointment. I saw how they (women employees) get bad attention not only to me but another people. I don't want came back to this office ! I'll change the primary doctor in my health insurance.
