Dr. Winston Bokor, MD

It’s hard to know where to rank Dr Bokor on a scale, in two years I was part of concierge service at PCH, I received concierge attention, and he has caring bedside manner, however Dr B. addresses symptom, not systemic problems. He either has a drug to treat symptoms , attributes issue to aging or steered me off to another practitioner( PT, acupuncture). In the case of both issues, after months of no progress, I sought other Doctors. Both diagnosis were made in one visit by respective new doctors. One resulted in a replacement of an otherwise intact hip, due to necrosis from undiagnosed synovial cyst. Could replacement surgery have been prevented without 6 month delay in diagnosis, possibly! The other issue is hopefully being resolved, but the delay has led to continued health deterioration. The thing I find incredible is how far off Dr was, and how insistent/confident he was in his symptom oriented medical advice, like he didn’t really take it seriously. I’m not his kind of patient.

Dr Bokor is kind, thoughtful, smart and caring. He is very thorough and really listens, a rare gift in a doctor. He is both an internal medicine doctor and an expert in infectious diseases.

Dr. Bokor is extremely thorough, exhausting every possible cause; he extended my husband's life as well as greatly improved the quality and vitality of his health against very poor odds. Our family is forever grateful to Dr. Bokor.

Expert diagnostician. He treated and cured what 6 other physicians and consultants failed to do. Very kind, very caring and took extra time with me. He was attentive and did not make me feel rushed. I would recommend him to all of my friends and family.
