Gone Downhill
I used to like Dr. McIver, but he has really changed. He no longer listens to my heart or lungs. All he goes by is the blood work. As someone with congestive heart failure and COPD, it should be standard procedure. I went for over a year with him misdiagnosing my hand as eczema, without him ever even examining my hand. I requested a referral to a dermatologist several times before I was finally referred. Only to find out that I had squamous cell cancer. I have totally lost faith in him.

Very pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt at ease when discussing my concerns. The wait was a little long but well worth it. Every where you go you have to wait. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr Mciver is an excellent very knowledable doctor. Wait times are because he's thorough and he listens which is more than I can say for most doctors who usher you out quickly before you get a chance to be heard. As for his staff they've always been friendly, courteous & thorough. I've been a patient for 10+ years & recommends him to everyone I know .

Dr. McIver is a great physician, and interested in your well-being. However, his office staff is careless and more interested in talking with each other than serving patients. Patient follow-up is horrible. They never have done what was supposed to be done after a visit, such as schedule an appointment with a specialist, or call a patient back with x-ray results. They need lessons in putting the patient first!

nobody answers the phone. Always get voicemail. No staff will return calls. When u leave a message it takes the staff days to get back to you. The doctor is so nice and caring but his staff are extremely lazy and slack! It's a shame.

Always overbooked, average wait time is 2 hours. Doctor spends very little time, often with no exam at all, just a conversation. Requires repeat visits for any and every little thing, even things that could be taken care of over the phone, even if you just had an exam within the past week, even if you are self-pay ($75/visit).

My husband has gone several times in a month's time for PAD with severe pai and discomfort. The leg is infected and he was put on an ATB. The Ultram for pain is ineffective. This Dr. Will not treat him with a stronger pain med or do a swab of the ulcer to see what ATB would be effective. The Dr will not even listen to my husband. He spent less than 10 Min. With him. Very poor bedside manners and over books appointments. The nursing staff does not return calls. This is a very poor practice.
