My husband had not been seen by a neurologist outside of the VA for some time because of scheduling problems due to change of state addresses. He was seen by Dr. Risk. We were very impressed by his knowledge and attempts to 'fill in the gaps' that relocating had caused. He was organized, pleasant, thorough, and curious about the interim history between appointments and the diagnosis and treatment of his original symptoms. We would gladly see him again if, and when, that occasion might arise.

NEVER go to,trust,or put your life in this mans hands. he way over prescribes medications and could care less about you. I was put into a medically induced coma and on a respirator because i was in complete organ shutdown from this man.and yes it was being prescribed too many meds and to many that were all too closely the same. To bad some people cant afford attorney or he'd have another law suit.

Initial new patient visit approx 3 hrs. The only doctor I've been too that takes his time with you. Has great bedside manner and even takes his time with you on a phone call. Dr. Risk fantastic, knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Risk is one of the best doctors to ever treat me. Extremely thorough, he treats me as an intelligent person with a real neurology problem rather than a malingerer. I would recommend Dr. Risk to anyone facing neurology problems.

Immediately you can tell this is a physician that this is a physician that cares about his patients. Dr. Risk takes the time to explain everything. he doesn't watch the clock or get yancy because he needs to hurry up to get to the next exam room. I would most definitely recommend this neurologist to anyone who needs to see of position and their specialty. My only wish.......is that there were more doctors like him.
