Dr Zakko is wonderful
Colonoscopy with Dr. Zacco is always smooth and trouble free(I've had 3), and his bedside manner is great. He is very open and informative, and I have only good things to say about him. When I worked at Holy Cross Hospital, all the nurses recommended him. Always a good sing

I was told my appointment was at 10:30 and I should probably come a little earlier, like 10:15. I showed up at 10:00. At 11:20, I asked when I could expect to be called and was told that my appointment was really at 11:30; though doctors "often run late," they ask patients to come 1:15 before their appointments. When I tried to discuss this with me. He was defensive and arrogant. Not a good combination. It went downhill from there.

I was in constant fear of getting food lodged in my esophagus for 10yrs +. I saw a doctor when I first started having these problems. He told me nothing could be done, chew my food, drink a lot when eating. If I still had issues would put me on steroids, that was a last resort & I didn't want that. So yrs go by with food getting lodged and the only way to clear it was to throw up. Which is embarrassing at restaurants and friends houses. Hospital ER visits. I was done, saw Dr Zakko, I feel AWESOME.

Dr Wisam Zakko has been my doctor for about 20 years...He is amazing...gentle and great at what he does.....since I am seeing him, my colonoscopies and endoscopies have all been painless during and after procedures . I had a friend go to him and he said he never had a painless colonoscopy like this. with other doctors and I agree...God Bless him...he is the best...

Routine colonoscopy appointment took over a month to schedule. I arrived 30 minutes in advance as instructed to complete paperwork. I waited over an hour after the appointment time for initial consultation. Actual colonoscopy could not be scheduled for over a month from consultation. First instructed to be at Imperial Point hospital at 9am on day of procedure. Monday before exam, told to be there at 8:30am. 4 hours! later procedure began. No warning, no information, no apology NOTHING unprompted

As long as you have very good insurance and aren't actually ill, he may be a good doctor. However, after a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy, my follow up appointment was CANCELLED by his office, after THEY scheduled if because he was "on vacation". Hmmm....wouldn't you know that prior? Also, developed some additonal issues, i.e, bleeding ever time having a bowel movement. Tried to get an appointment, had to wait THREE weeks, then upon arrival today, they inform me that I need a "referral" form.
