The worst of the worst!!
If I could give less than zero I would. NorthWell, Manhasset ER attending doctor XIMENA ARATA, is the very worst doctor I have encountered in my entire life!! And unfortunately, my family and I have been seen by lots of doctors over the years! No compassion what so ever, sarcastic attitude, superiority complex!! Asked her questions and she was totally abrupt! It is scary & bad enough when you are rushed to the er in the middle of the night, but to then have to deal with a person like this is disheartening when you are in a vulnerable position. I believe she is in the wrong profession. Northwell do better for your patients!!

Terrible experience with Dr. Arata. Terrible bedside manner. She is in the wrong profession with her level of patience and care. Her attitude makes the rest of the team around her( residents and nurses) feed from her poor attitude. What a shame.

Currently in the hospital being seen and if I tell you I’ve never met a doctor who is soooooooo rude and unprofessional until I met this doctor. She should not be working with the public with her nasty attitude and no compassion. Please find a different field to work in and not with people.

I wish there was an option to leave less than 1 star. 0 stars would be generous. I have never met a more vile human being. She had 0 bedside manner and didnt even make eye contact with me or my mother while reporting results to us. Not to mention she gave us another patients information when she first walked in. Do all asians look the same to you? Because of our appearance she immediately thought we were the Lee family.

No bedside manner. Was yelling at me over the phone in the background through her residents phone. Seriously as a human you should have a level of respect for others and especially as a physician. Poor medical knowledge as well it appears.

This doctor deserves zero stars. I totally agree with December 28, 2018 review. She took care of me in the emergency room and did not even look at me when she addressed the injury. Instead, she spoke to the intern, completely disregarded my injury complaint, did not discuss x-ray results with neither myself or the intern, and totally ignored me (as if I was non-existent).

No stars she has a horrible sense of entitlement and no bed side manner .. 12/27/2018 . My mother is currently at North Shore University Hospital and she happens to be the Dr. on call she would not let anyone else speak and was very abrupt .. would not recommend anyone see her ever by choice or otherwise...
