Convenient scheduling, short wait time
I was able to get an initial appointment within 2 weeks which is incredible. I was quoted between 3 to 6 months by larger practices. Our first appointment was in person. Dr. tan was pleasant. Her office manager Denise is awesome. No complaints.

Made an emergency next day appt, my first here, was assured I needed not give them more info than my name. Upon arrival I was told by a very surly and accusatory person that I had an outstanding bill from 1993 and would not be seen till I paid it in full, I explained that it was my first visit and I was assigned Dr Tan by Tufts health plan the day before, which was difficult to do as I was interrupted by a clearly angry person in a very unprofessional manner everytime I began to speak even when answering a question. I was told rudely in industry terms I did not understand that they don't accept tufts and it was all the new girl's fault. So after being falsely accused and browbeaten I left the office visibly upset with no answers. Called later to help to inform them they were the first result in a tufts plan search, I was interrupted with angry loud terms I did not understand and hung up on. I have never been treated so rudely by a healthcare proffesional. Do not go here.

Highly recommend doctor Tan if you are looking for a primary care doctor in Quincy. I am so glad and thankful I found doctor Tan for my parents. About 7 months ago, I started to take my 85+ years old parents to see doctor Tan. Both of my parents have many pre-existing illnesses. At each visit, doctor Tan would spend a good amount of time to understand their condition and explain to us her diagnostic and possible treatment plan.

An excellent doctor! She is the best doctor I have ever seen. Elegant and thorough. Knowledgeable. She masters endocrine, diabetes, thyroid problems, hypertension, chest pain, and bad kidney. Her connections are great and can refer me to great subspecialty when she sees fit, even out of MA! Isn't that amazing?

I went to see Dr. Tan for a fall I had as Dr. Call was out of the office. Her assessment of my injury was so inaccurate it was is if she made the entire visit up. I am disappointed that she has taken over Dr. Call's practice. I will be sure to ask Dr. Call for a referral for a new G.P. once she has retired.
