Dr Yang was excellent.
Dr Yang was extremely clear and also listened well. She carried out a thorough examination, made a diagnosis and planned a course of action.I was extremely impressed.

So disappointing
I was excited for my first visit and the prospect of some pain relief. Dr Yang needs some basic training in how to to engage with a new patient or any patient. There is no expression of empathy whatsoever in her manner. I had a 9 AM appointment and was put in the room at that time and left for 50 minutes. When she did come in she was very hurried and shook my hand with a glove on (?). I got 10 minutes with her and the most rudimentary of exams. There is a big focus, which I do understand, on drug screening and giving a urine sample when you arrive. I went along but I think this could be handled more gracefully. They request you don’t take your purse in the bathroom. I’m not on opiates nor am I requesting them so it’s hard not to be put off with this. All in all it was disappointing but Dr Yang did order some steroid injections which will hopefully help. When scheduling I was relieved that a different doctor would be performing the procedure. The scheduler Gabby is excellent!

Terrible provider of pain management care....
This practice says that they provide state of the art pain management to the patients of Tucson. I can tell after you after being evaluated by one of their physicians, Dr Yang, in their NW office, that is a falsehood of the highest order. This practitioner, who trained in Shanghai, China, failed in her duty as a physician, to assist me in the management of my pain symptoms. Her advice was " we will schedule you a pain injection in a month". No mention of any other alternatives, just suffer along through the Christmas and New Years holidays. Not even any mention of followup. When I complained to their patient advocate, "Chelsea", who looked into the matter, their advice was to seek other medical practitioners outside the practice. This provider performed a " shoddy exam", worthy of a 1st year medical student, and her treatment recommendation was totally inadequate to my needs as a patient. No mention of other medications or alternative regimens. Just to keep doing what I was doing.

Horrible
This doctor didn't even maintain eye contact whiling talking to her. Did not listen to my pain issues at all. Treated me like a peasant anytime I explained my pain. It seemed like she thought I was fabricating my pain.i definitely suggest looking elsewhere if you are looking for pain relief. I am sure this doctor gets kick backs from the insurance companies with all the extra appointments she requested..I wish I could leave a ZERO star

Terrible doctor
She made me feel so undervalued and like I was lying about my condition even though my PCP gave her all my records. Did nothing for me on my first visit and was hesitant to schedule a follow up appointment. I left feeling very defeated!

Would not recommend
Dr Yang was extremely impersonal. I had to pry answers to my questions out of her. She offered no information even about what the pain center might offer based on the results of my upcoming my X-rays and MRI. She did not make me feel confident in her ability. Very disappointing first visit.
