Dr. Yasin Choudry, MD

At a point in my life where I was in a very bad place, Dr. Choudry was exceptional. He was very compassionate and understanding of what I was going through. He was able to provide direction that allowed me to come off of a lot of medication, and put me in a better place in life. I was struggling with PTSD and depression, and most doctors wanted to treat with solely medication, and a lot of it. Dr. Choudry took a different approach and looked at it as a complete healing process versus relying on medications to do the work. I highly recommend him for those suffering with PTSD.

Dr. Choudry saved my life, literally. after being misdiagnosed by a Santa Fe Doctor [for bipolar disorder], I was prescribed Adderol,Vyvance,Prozac, Ativan,Depokote, etc. Next, the ER, for attempted suicide. I got lucky, Dr. C was on duty. He was kind but straight forward. He said there's no easy way out, I had to detox. it was brutal, but he promised to walk me through it. which he did every step of the way.Allowing me to reach him, anytime I needed him. While under censure by the New Mexico Medical Board for narcotics abuse, Yasin Choudry practiced psychiatry at St. Vincent's Hospital in Santa Fe. His treated my daughter who was suffering from an acute psychiatric problem was absolutely appalling. He failed every measure of professionalism that could be fit into our fifteen minutes together. His treatment of my daughter worsened her condition. Because he hoodwinked the medical staff, they were made complicit in his ineptness.

While he can effectively prescribe medications, Dr. Choudry lays out a plan for healing that addresses past trauma and lifestyle as well as transpersonal concerns.
