Dr. Yasmin Bootwala, MD

Dr. Bootwala is a wonderful urologist. She listens, answers your questions and makes you feel very comfortable and like she really cares. During my gynecological exam, she was gentle and considerate of my nervousness.I would highly recommend Dr. Bootwala.

As they asked, I arrived 30 minutes ahead of my appointment, completed all the forms and paperwork, submitted my payment and then waited 1 hour past my appointment time before inquiring. I asked if the 1 hour wait was common and the receptionist said, "it is on Mondays. Since I was a NEW Patient I cancelled the appointment and left

Dr. Bootwala never calls- but took the co-pay visit of $15.00. I try to call at 5:04 pm and get a recording office is closed. Friday: I call on 12/30 at 8:33 am and tell the gal, not sure if I spoke to you, if so I apologize, I need to have my surgery rescheduled, she says the girl's name who does this and they will have to call me back. No callback. I called back at 12:49 office was out to lunch. No one calls back. I am upset and stressed out. I was given a wad of papers about the surgery but was never talked to about why and what surgery was. I had to look it up online. Got medicine- again was never told what was for, and again had to look it up. I am filing a complaint with the BBB & AMA. I feel that they only care about getting the money for surgery and not my well-being. I was never told the surgery was far north except on the paper of info I got. The staff does not care about my well-being and nor does the doctor. They only want the money. filed complaint w BBB the is AMA next.

Dr. Bootwalla is very thorough and seems quite knowledgeable in this field. She was very attentive to my urology frustrations and did not rush my appointment. I would have given a 5 star rating but the wait time at this office has been an issue for a few years, that I know of.

My appointment was over an hour late, and this was a morning appointment. Nobody had a time update for me at any point or even warned me things were behind. When I stuck my head out to check after an hour, I happened to ask Dr. Bootwala, whom I haven’t met before she made it seem as though I was a problem. I tried to keep it open mind. She came in with no apology and rushed the entire appointment. I verified at the start how much time I would have and she said as much as you need to ask all your questions. There was no physical exam nor did she look at my chart before entering. She got up and started to leave as I was still asking questions. Not only this but when I asked about the chemical used in the procedure the doctor couldn’t tell me what type of drug it was, nor did she offer to look it up. She also reviewed private patient information in full view of me. They also did not have my ultrasound although I verified this when scheduling. I reported to AZ Med Board

My daughter had a horrible experience with this doctor. She had to wait for over an hour for her appointment then the doctor rushed the entire time. She even got up and walked out the door while my daughter was still asking questions. The office called later to give her test results and had not run all of the tests they were supposed to. She had to go back in to get the tests run again. When the office called with those results we were told we had to pay another 100.00 after we had already paid the first visit. When we said no they said they would run it through insurance but not charge us. After we agreed and the dr gave the results we were billed the 100.00. After escalating numerous times they refused to reverse the charge and threatened collections. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and will be filing formal complaints against her and her office.

I've had two surgeries. I found Dr. Bootwala to be very thorough, answers your questions completely. She gives you time to ask questions and she gives complete answers. She explains procedures very well and has a very comforting bedside manner. I give her 5 stars out of 5. She's exceptional!

She listens deeply and works very hard to address your issues. I feel so much better now than before I started seeing her. She is outstanding.

I think she is amazing. I want her and only her as my physician for my issues. I have been waiting for her return. I’m ecstatic she is available. She is the best??

Didn't perform my surgery correctly and never said anything after 2 follow ups that the surgery wasn't sucessful.
