PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HER!
TARTER DOES NOT DESERVE THE 'DR' TITLE AT ALL. I AM DEAF. SHE WAS UPSET BECAUSE I WAS LOOKING AT THE SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER ON THE VIDEO SCREEN INSTEAD OF HER. SHE COVERED THE INTERPRETER'S VIDEO WITH THE PRESCRIPTION PAPERS, PREVENTING MY ACCESS TO COMMUNICATION. SHE REFUSED TO MOVE HER HANDS AWAY FROM THE VIDEO AFTER THE INTERPRETER AND I TRIED EXPLAINING THAT I NEEDED TO SEE THE INTERPRETER. TARTER WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM, INSTEAD. SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND OPPRESSIVE. AUDISM AT ITS FINEST.

Worst Experience EVER
This is my first EVER Negative Review! I found a tick on me, which isn't unusual, as I live on a farm, but after a week, this bite left the tell-tale dot with a circle around it. Leaving any kind of mark after 24 hours of removal would be abnormal for me. I went to Patient First to get tested for Lyme disease. She walked in and asked where I got bit but didn't come any closer than the curtain to look at it. When I asked for a Lyme test she told me no and I pointed out that my bite looked just like a Lyme bite, she told me it looked like a bruise--she still had not looked at it from any distance closer than the curtain- She YELLED at me and told me I shouldn't question her professional opinion. Finally, after I was in tears, she authorized the test and guess what? My test was positive. Not getting treated for Lyme Disease can cause a whole host of health issues. It is a bacterial infection that can be treated with antibiotics and usually responds well when treated early

I have selected Dr. Tarter as my Primary Care Physician at Patient First because: (A) She listens attentively to my concerns; (B) She spends as much time as needed for me to explain my health issue and I never feel dismissed or rushed; (C) She has provided me with accurate diagnoses and successful treatments whether for an illness or an injury; and (D) She has referred me to specialists who are also attentive and thorough. I trust her and I am very grateful for her compassionate care.

I can’t believe doctors like her are still in practice. She brings the whole score for the urgent care down. Horrible experience with her.
