Excellent Doctor!
I met Dr. Ornstein when I was in the hospital very sick and my situation was really bad and hopeless. He was the one who was able to diagnose me and give me hope that I could go back to my kids and a normal life (which at the time seemed impossible). Eventually, after a few months I went back to my normal life and my kids, and it's all thanks to Dr. Ornstein. He is now my primary care doctor and I owe him my life. I see in the reviews on this page people are only complaining about wait times, but overlook his performance as an excellent doctor, with lots of attention to detail for patients which I personally appreciate, whether it's me or any other patient. If I would have to wait more, I would, because his care worth waiting for. He saved my life, and my kids still have their mother in their life because of this doctors time and care, and I know that from my own experience, that if I have to wait, it means he is taking care of someone else's health (maybe saving another life).

Wait times in his office are atrocious. There are times I have waited for hours after my scheduled appointment to see the doctor. It is impossible to get him on the phone, he never returns calls. He will not call in refills for any medications, you have to make an appointment to see him and wait the hours in his waiting room in order to get refills for the simplest medications. His staff is less than friendly, especially his office manager. Don't expect to ever get him on the phone, even in an emergency. When I have tried to reach him about a medical issue, there are times I've had to call every 30 minutes throughout the entire day, and finally if you bother his office staff enough, they will put him on the phone. However, once you get in front of him, he will take all the time you need. He does have a very good bedside manner. I would give him 5 stars if he were more accessible, and if I didn't have to wait to see him until 12am when I had a 7pm appointment.

My mother in law was in hospital, my sister in law and my husband. Dr. Ornstein was visiting them every day. He is an amazing doctor, and a real profesional. He is listening, he is explaining, he is a good diagnost. So blessed to have him as our doctor. The only think-be prepared to spend time waiting.
